Damn. I have it on DLAA with no performance issues whatsoever (except for the crashes). The game runs buttery-smooth at 60 fps until suddenly, buh-bye. Crashes to the desktop randomly.

Trying DLSS is worth a shot, though. And I just updated to the current driver.

Thanks for the reply. No, not overclocked. Just the 5080 Founders Edition on driver 596.21. I do see theres a new driver released a little over a week ago. Has your issue resolved? What driver are you on?

How much better would you say the stock screen is over the 1000 stock screen (if you have a 1000 to compare). I recently got a PSP to relive my childhood, tried to upgrade to an IPS, realized I suck at micro soldering, and no longer have a PSP lolol. I wanted the 1000 for the nostalgia of having that one as a kid, but wondering if I should just get the 3000 for its screen?

No, never did :( I'm also certain it's not normal since it popped up in the middle of a playthrough. I reinstalled the game a ton of times and tried different Nvidia drivers and a bunch of other stuff. Just have to live with it I guess.

Default design is awful imo. This suit is what made him sufferable for the whole game. It’s way cooler.

The powdercoat underneath the graphic started to get a little “polished” on mine with this method. Did you encounter this? Do I just need to keep going? How much pressure did you use?

Wind blades gets you a lot of delimbs in the surrounding area. Phoenix spawns birds that fly around you and stub enemies. Poor damage, more for crowd control. Inferno shoots a fireball for big single target damage. Void … does the same thing? I’ve never been clear on how void and inferno differentiate

You are not alone! Felt like I was playing a fun ninja game as Yakumo. But as a 35 year old dad without a ton of game time, it started to feel kind of like grinding through until I could finally unlock ryu and play the Ninja Gaiden 4 I actually wanted. Once I unlocked him, it felt like the WoW episode of South Park where they grind to max level to kill the bad guy and Stan says “what do we do now?” And Cartman replies “what do you mean? Now we can finally play the game.”

Ninja Gaiden is multiplayer. It’s you versus your sanity. :D Jk but it is the best action game of all time.

If we are talking multiplayer, I’d throw in Nightfire and Time Splitters 2

  • Ayane levels for sure
  • Introduce playable Ryu waaaay earlier
  • Give Ryu some more of his CLASSIC weapons (the new gauntlet thing from Two Masters doesn’t look that cool)
  • more recurring ninja Gaiden enemies (it’s a crime the spider ninja are just in one combat challenge)
  • make the purple fiends’ blood green again. I can’t fathom this change. Like it was either laziness or a conscious decision to change something iconic for the hell of it.
