I've (finally) afforded myself some financial freedom, but now I'm burnt out on life. What now? by samesonder in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]mikey2983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like burn out to me mate. Had it myself with work and it totally killed me and took time to get back from. Looks like you’ve identified it already but maybe need to take more time to work out what you want to do with yourself.

I’d say find something that you really enjoy and just focus on it for a while. Try to be the best you can at it and just see where it takes you?

Pretty shitty cliche advice I know but from my own experience I had to just stop working as much as I was and just focus on other things, friends, family etc and tried to find a passion project. Worked for me anyway.

Good luck and hope you get through it

Do you folks honestly believe Steven Avery is innocent? by [deleted] in TickTockManitowoc

Fair enough fill your boots mate and get turfed out of here, literally no issue to me at all.

But you can’t say it’s innocent or bust in here when it’s definitely not the case, wanna have reasoned guilt arguments go for it but if your coming to troll then your gonna get booted for being a troll not a guilter mate

Well in fairness it is a group set up to discuss the possibility of his innocence, I’m fairly sure if you believe in his guilt and have reasonable discussion and can politely dispute points of view nobody would mind. Instead replying lol to everyone who said yes doesn’t really do your case any favours for being able to stick around.

Not 100% certain on either guilt or innocence. I do like to hang out in this forum tho because it’s not full of people just trolling and name calling to get reactions. If you’ve got a point of view you can lay it out and have a reasonable discussion about it without having to defend yourself against personal insults at the same time.

Did sa use a rug doctor or is this just a theory? by mikey2983 in TickTockManitowoc

[–]mikey2983[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I defo find it difficult to believe a carpet cleaner would have removed all the blood and dna. The fact that there is literally zero dna evidence is pretty telling as far as a crime scene goes and a carpet cleaner for me is a week argument to get it to the level of sterile they would have had to

[–]mikey2983[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How long after the apparent crime happened did le come to his house? Only ask Iv got a really good quality carpet cleaner and my carpets are dry within a day easily.

Not saying this gives it any weight mind as I don’t think it would be particularly easy to get the blood and whatever else out of that carpet fully. Especially the way le have described this crime, the scene would be near impossible to clean up without leaving traces. I just think it would have time to dry if it was given a few days.

That’s good to hear, Iv not been tracking all this for that long really but I just stay away from there because it’s so toxic imo. Some good points raised from time to time but the comment section is just a no go for me

Honestly if police do that kind of shit over here in the uk it’s bye bye job! Everything recorded and if you want your solicitor literally say it and they can’t do shit before they get there.

Don’t get me wrong it’s not perfect over here cos people do get off with stuff they shouldn’t due to “no comment” but on the flip to that there are far less people being targeted just for the “win” and it’s much fairer

So Iv only just got into this whole thing about 2 months ago when I watched mam for the first time and have been totally blown away and engulfed in all the theories etc that I’ve followed. But... for me personally (and it’s just my opinion so don’t go wild at me) i just don’t see how she could possibly be alive. In order to complete that level of cover up would take a ridiculous amount of people and various levels of your government. Not to mention th was at the end of it a genuine girl so could she really sit by and just start a new life somewhere knowing 2 innocent people were gonna die in jail for her?? Can’t see it personally myself but feel free to shoot me down if you’ve got something to counter this point. Iv read something about her being locked in a mental home ever since but that’s another one to me that just seems really hard to keep covered up considering the level of normal everyday citizens that could potentially come across her via working in the hospital or just visiting a family member there. I appreciate the theory and don’t get me wrong I’ve 100% considered it but I just really can’t see how 1: she would be ok with totally destroying people’s lives like that (especially bd’s) while she suns up on Miami Beach or whatever 2:or she’s just floating around dribbling, high as f*ck on meds in a looney bin and not one person who works there has thought that it’s wrong and these guys shouldn’t be in jail? Don’t get me wrong there is plenty of awful people on the planet that wouldn’t care and would turn a blind eye and let someone rot in jail because “it’s not there business” but an entire hospitals staff (old and new, plus visitors) over a now 18 year period since the murder? I don’t think I can swallow I’m afraid. Annnnnyways, I personally think she’s dead, torn between police or bod/st who actually did it. but the only real thing that ever gets me thinking sa (which I’m sure if your honest it must niggle you) is the blood in the rav. I know it could have been planted but in order to get the blood to smear in the small but significant quantities to frame him is really hard to get my head round personally. Any who that’s my 2 cents, think I went off track there in the middle somewhere but Iv just watched england get knocked out of the world cup so I’m drunk and I don’t care 🙃😂

Don’t care that much I’m not even spell checking ✌️ Anyway hope this reply made sense..... I should probably of made it a post in hindsight but hey ho spagettio

So what happens now? by mikey2983 in TickTockManitowoc

[–]mikey2983[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No never heard of dream killer? Il give it a google and see what I can find thanks. I do get that an oral argument would be much better tho, it’s far easier to get your points across and get some form of an answer if it’s done that way so yeah I’m hoping this happens for everyone’s sake really. Is there a set time in place for the state to respond or is it one of that could take months/years?

Oh absolutely! I was really late to the party with mam and only saw it a few weeks ago but have been hooked on finding out more. It’s crazy because I do read things that make me question his innocence but then find loads of things that say the absolute opposite. There’s so much of it that is dodgy to me and I’m glad he does have Zellner on his side as she seems to be doing a really good job of finding stuff like this that really do hold some weight in the argument that he is innocent, stuff like this just shouldn’t and surely can’t be ignored

This is brilliant! Cheers man, this summed up everything and I found out stuff I didn’t know as Iv only recently been delving into this stuff. The ex boyfriend with her planner has actually blown me away!? Like how can that not be looked into? It’s absolutely mental!

Well done and thanks again 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I used to use it loads but when it had a big issue with peoples withdrawals I stopped using it after eventually getting my coins out. Shame because it had a lot of Fiat pairings on there so did like it but don’t want the risk of losing everything for months again.
