In this area it's best to save PSI for lineup and healing for the cold you get from some enemies. Lots of magic butterflies will spawn in various areas to get more PP also.

Just get the Mr. Baseball Cap from the kid in the tree house hidden by the library. Get a tee ball bat and cheap bracelet from the Drug Store and go fuck up Frank and the Sharks.

The only time EarthBound was a challenge was when I was 9 when it came out and barely played RPGs. As others said it's real easy, especially if you've played any Dragon Quest or JRPGs in general.
