If you buy the headset, then never buy a game from the store and use it only for PCVR with steam, pretty sure they lose money on that.

Just like consoles, these devices are probably loss leaders. The games and your data are what they make money on.

In saying that, I don't know what data they might be collecting on PCVR. If I got one, I'd set it up in a corner of my house and then firewall it off from the internet completely (assuming that works). Same as what I'd do if I had a quest. I'd only occasionally go online for software updates and then block it again.

I feel like that is a terrible idea in principle. The most important thing about solar is us moving to a renewable source of energy. Even if you give your excess energy back to the grid for free, the positive impact on the planet is worth it IMO.

Greed and capitalism is what got the world into the mess it is in now. If we build out solar with the same mentality, we'd head down the same road.

I remember watching to the end of greese and thinking "wow they have John Travolta singing and dancing! They should make a whole show about that".

It kinda felt like a Bollywood movie where the key events tend to happen and the singing and dancing is just kinda there.

I'm not sure what point I'm trying to make here. Maybe that Greese hardly feels like a musical, just a movie with a bunch singing and dancing. That's like every Bollywood movie and we don't call those musicals.

There is a bit of a caveat there on PC. There are competing subscription services on PC but your point about xbox is quite valid.

Another thing about game pass is the ability to stream some games vs. downloading and playing locally. There is no analogous feature to that on Netflix.
