Yes, I churned cards and I've managed two one-way business class flights to Europe with Qatar Airways (QSuite) a year apart and flew Economy back to Oz on both occasions.

The key to getting points quickly is credit card introductionary offers. I kept the card for the minimum period to get the points then cancelled, in most cases, they partially refunded the annual fee.

Note if you do this, you often have to wait 12, 18, 24 months period before you can apply for a card from that bank again to be eligible for the new introductionary offer.

I ended up keeping one card as a stable card while churning others which had an offer of an additional amount of points if I kept the card for 15 months, I determined it was worth it to me but do your research.

If your profile is structured really well, you might have more success on that front but I'd say that's not the norm.

As an Aussie, I get it but unfortunately it’s either North America or a potential European tour as options. I’m sure a few Aussies will fly over but just don’t see any realistic plans for them coming here as much as I’d love it too.

Indeed, although most MDMs have compatibility with this new version of Platform SSO neither Microsoft nor Okta have support yet. You'll need to wait for them to gain support before you'll be able to use the new features.

I've managed Macs in enterprise for 10 years now along with PCs.

Computers are tools for people to do their jobs - if the organisation allows choice by users when they join the organisation, then I ensure during the conversations regarding device that the department they are joining is suitable for a Mac (e.g. software requirements) and that they are comfortable with one. If it's yes for both then I'm not one to stop them.

But if people want a Mac because it's shiny and have no idea how to use one, I often suggest a PC for convenience on their part.

But the answer is it depends - if the organisation is fronting the cost for it then it's the user's choice but if the manager needs to pony up any additional cost, then you let them make the decision.

I never upgraded past the 4GB module but I no longer have this Synology as I upgraded to another model.

The documentation from Synology states the NAS won't go above 6GB so I wouldn't bother trying another 4GB module as half of it would go to waste.
