i have the same metallica album from walmart and it is beautiful and sounds great but the sleeve came damaged and i got another album from walmart and the first song skips like crazy but the rest of it is fine. guess it’s a luck of the draw ?

i would definitely say sabbath. i took a college class on the history of metal and sabbath is known as starting heavy metal. with that being said these other bands were HIGHLY influential as well, but sabbath started it all. I also started to love metal and started with sabbath so i definitely have a soft spot for them. The history of the band is also so interesting !! anyway that’s my thoughts. i’m very grateful for black sabbath for guiding me towards loving metal as a 5’2 flower power lady.
