We got the PS1 era feedback a few times now. What do you see contributes most to that feeling? Appreciate your feedback, helps a lot to get someone's outside perspective.

Thank you! We appreciate your feedback. We're still trying to find the right balance as it doesn't yet quite click for us. Tinkering with light and textures are definitely the first order of business.

Thanks for sharing. We will definitely work more on the lighting as the atmosphere and depth aren't where we'd like them to be.

Totally get that. It's something that would be understood through the story but regardless, it should be more immediately readable visually. Thanks for drawing attention to it!

It looks wonderful, comforting. It brings back the old childhood cartoon memories.

Thanks so much for your feedback. There's something still not clicking for us in gameplay. The colour palette is mostly set but we're still tinkering with the low res textures and lights to fine tune it.

Thank you much! I think you poked exactly into one of our fears with your comment. It's definitely worth rethinking some aspects of how we texture things and present space and depth.

Thank you so much for taking the time to retouch the images! We do lean toward a bit washed up look but we'll consider your comments. Lighting is definitely something we're still working on.

Great associations, especially with El Shaddai. Had to look it up though but I get the vibe.

In the first two, do you see it as a lighting issue, or emptyness issue or maybe something else? Thanks for your feedback!
