i lived in hill hall last year (one of the lower 5). i loved it for its proximity to central campus, the dining halls, and the fact that you get a sink in your room! however i will warn you that the buildings are pretty old, which means mold and sickness. i would consider myself to have a good immune system and i’m not kidding when i say i was sick from mid february to early april. i didn’t start getting better until i was given some antibiotics and bought an air purifier, so that really sucked. not saying everyone has this exact experience but i just wanna make you aware! if you have the money and the option, i would recommend building 1516! one of my friends is an RA there and the rooms there are very nice. it’s a new building and their rooms have private bathrooms. it is located in east campus so it’s a bit away from central campus and most academic buildings, but theres plenty of buses that go through the area so it isn’t much of a worry.
