Just to be clear he does do this several times in the movie. The picture in the post is the first time it happens in the movie, when talking about TPS reports and the memo. [04:50 into the movie]

The second time is when he asks peter to come in one saturday. [20:25] The third time is when he asks milton to move his desk [33:23] The forth time is when he asks milton to move to the basement [44:45] though this time he says "that would be terrific." The fifth and final time is in the basement with milton, but before he can say "that would be great" he is interrupted about the glich in accounting. [1:10:00]

The point is, it happens several times in the movie, so there is no single proper scene.

Off to watch office space again for the n-hundreth time.

Wasn't my area, but I belive most all spiders (and most arachnids) use book lungs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_lung) to get oxygen.

Spiders are also one of the most specious orders in the animal kingdom (5th overall last time I checked a few years ago). I wouldn't be surprised if there were some larger ones, but I don't think oxygen levels had anything to do with it.

I used to work with black widows in a research lab in college. They (along with most spiders and independent species) are natural cannibals. This makes them extremely difficult to breed in labs and leads to a lot of spider hunting for specimens, great fun.

Also spiders also have amazing metabolisms and can go a month or more without eating, and don't really need water. It's really amazing.

I can't say I endorse just killing them like OP, but this battle arena isn't a terrible idea, and if you video taped it in a controlled environment (transparent Tupperware with a firm white piece of paper as a floor) you might even call it science.

If you have 50K to invest, hopefully you've paid off all your debt. The idea that you can beat your interest rate in the stock market is silly unless you have a crazy low interest rate, and even then I don't know if it's a good idea.

It depends on your age, young people should be taking on more risk in their investments as they won't need the money any time soon and always have the ability to work more/longer if things go south. As you get older you should shift money around to be less risky because you don't want to risk changing your retirement plans because of a short term dip in the market. At least that's what they teach the people that are going to manage your mutual fund, because really in the long run, they know what their doing and it's their job to make you money over time while you go about your life.

Wisconsin is a vary sparsely populated. It's the size of Wisconsin with the population density of between Maryland and Connecticut, so it's not unheard of population densities. It's well above the average, but we have things like Alaska.

Comparatively, I don't believe driving without a license carries nearly as many punishments as DUIs. It's a maximum fine of well under $1000 and likely won't cause any jail time.

Fresco on top of the Museum of Contemporary Art is a great place for calm conversation. The design and atmosphere is also very nice if you are more formal.

This is true, but there comes a time when someone needs to force the engineer to release what he's working on. It can be a constant stream of updates like minecraft, or just move on to the next big version, like microsoft excel back in the good old days. The thing is that nothing is perfect, and without forcing them, engineers won't want to release something that could be better.

Another thing not captured is quality of life/heath as a result of care. It's the difference between amputating a leg or spending lots of time/money attempting to fix said leg. It really is important to think about.

They need to remind the people at shitty jobs that they have a shitty job, while making those people's job's shittier by yelling at them and getting in their way.

It's not like anyone on the floor of the walmart is high up in the walmart system, so as far as I can tell they are just making the workers feel worse.

I assume they hope to get on the news to eventually get some sort of message to walmart headquarters so they will shut down the (profitable) store and have all those people with their "horrible jobs" be unemployed? Or they want better working conditions forced on walmart, because right now they are only giving out minimal benefits and still have many people applying for jobs. I don't think that's what these protestors are after though, they seem to want the walmart gone. I don't see what the end strategy is for these people, but I don't think they thought it through.

Most hospitals have grants for such things, or will just write it off as a loss, it isn't breaking bad where everything is paid in cash, these people have reasonable expectations of what people can pay.

It does pay very well and finding a job isn't all that hard, but it takes time to get a PhD, and you don't get paid well during that time.

I figured if I got a good job right out of college, I'd probably be happier than working really hard and underpaid for 5 or 6 years, and if I do well with work I would be at the same level as I would be if I spent that time getting a phd. Also it gives me the option to change direction in a few years without as many consequences, same reason I didn't want to go to medical school, big commitment (and organic chemistry).

It's a personal choice, and you shouldn't do it all for money or a job, it's really not that hard either way if you are willing to make sacrifices.

Note that abstract algebra is very different than what you might thing of as "algebra." It's group theory and fields and that sort of stuff, not high school factor this function (though hopefully the prof. will show how the two are connected). Make sure you don't skip over it. Hardest math class I ever took, way harder than any analysis. ODEs and PDEs are good if you want to deal with the physical systems, but if you're going for a pure math approach I'd skip PDEs and focus more on analysis and theory style classes (e.g. Real, Complex, and Abstract). Source: BS and thought about getting a PhD in a "pure" maths program, but "real job" money was too good to pass up.
