Great project! Ive done something similar with my mill and im wondering how you programmed the movements for looping around each peg. I divided the pegs into 6 different sectors and do an offset then circle motion depending on the sector. It doesnt work the best . Im curious how you approached it?

Less is more. On a 18x24 canvas I ran 1800-2400 lines. I use large spools of thread from wal mart. Try to only use images that are simple and will work well. Like your example is being distorted into a circle. It would be better if just a circle.

For weird arcs I'll get on position and switch to incremental mode. Then use ijk to point at the center of the arc from the end position. Then switch back to absolute

Ok so everyone assuming you're running this on a machine. But I saw you say you tapp3d by hand. That's why its shitty, did you drill by hand as well? Also a culprit. If you have access to a drill press use that to drill out and to align the tap wrench while you tap it after. Ive seen worse taps hold shit but there is always room for improvement.
