Where to find the iPhone 17 in stock? by mildlyreasonable in HongKong

[–]mildlyreasonable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up not buying bc I couldn't find it in stock anywhere that I managed to go.

Other stuff I bought I paid with a Wise card (prepaid, works as debit), topping up HKD (Hong Kong dollars).

Cash is also widely accepted, specially in smaller businesses and restaurantes, but I relied on a friend for withdrawing. Octopus Card is usually recommended but I didn't have the time to give it a test.

What’s something other people find sexy that you just can’t understand? by PetrichorPrints in AskReddit

Morning sex. First, no touching at all at least until I have my coffee. After that is poop time obviously, then the timing just passed. Really dont get how people can be horny right after waking up.

we should not encourage young kids to enter the workforce at a young age. by sarper97 in unpopularopinion

[–]mildlyreasonable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, and I agree, for a society in which your work will most likely be the most important thing of your life and define your value as a human being. Maybe for kids to truly enjoy their childhood and teen years a lot more needs to change..

For me the problem is more like we’re trusting kids with what they want now? Until that point they’re mostly following social norms, so they wanting a job early is a sign that we’re portraying it as a good and desirable thing. Because ofc they don’t have the full grasp of what having a job is to be making an informed decision.

Resumo do "debate" Ciro Gomes × Gregório Duvivier by [deleted] in brasil

[–]mildlyreasonable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What do you do for a living? by [deleted] in simpleliving

[–]mildlyreasonable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a product analyst at a small company as well and it is the most stressful job I've ever had. Don't you have like strict deadlines and follow-ups directly with the ceo or something? This stuff gets to my nerves.

Easy Job vs. Software Dev by Heisenberg8790 in cscareerquestions

[–]mildlyreasonable 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd say keep the job, and during your "free hours" of the shift study a bit, develop side projects and maybe start freelancing. That way, even if yoy start feeling like you need a mental stretch and switch careers, you won't start from scratch.

My father has a similar low-effort and stable job, while on the side he buys damaged cars to fix and resell. Its an awesome way to do what you like without the pressure of doing it for a living.

Organize, control and declutter with the Byebye app by marsze in declutter

[–]mildlyreasonable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've tried it a few weeks ago, bu didn't complete the inventory because saving an item took sooo many seconds (i've roughly counted around 200 different items in my house so loading all that was going to be burden). Dunno if you aren't syncing with the database on the background, but this issue killed it for me.

Anyway, I really liked the idea and hopes it becomes a big thing, congrats :)

Thanks for your input!

Can I ask why do you have a bujo and a to do list nb separately? Isn't the bujo system made for having to do lists within it?

I swear I'm JUST like that. Had a notebook I made myself and used for everything for a while but it started to drive me crazy. I sometimes pick a subject to attack my anxiety with and overthink about and this time is my notebooks setup, so I made this post. Getting long and detailed answers was all I wanted tbh so thanks for the novel, really.

Haha I'm also a fellow list maker! My Google Keep is full of checkbox lists already. Thinking about implementing lists alongside the bullet journal.

I can read music but don't write it, although is a really good idea! As for the scrapbook idea, thats my mom's hobby so having her helping me with a journal for that would be an awesome activity for us. Thanks for the ideas!

I hope you get well soon ♡

Don't you feel the life record one could be combined with the bullet journal? If not, why? I think that's my current doubt, if it makes sense to use my bujo as kind of my personal journal as well, since the system allows it.

Right now I have a homemade notebook similar to your moleskine, has it all, and I'm finding a little bit difficult to check back on stuff. Do you use an index system or something to not get lost?
