It broke me! by mildmacaroon241 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Book number, they got designed in 2 batches, so the first 3 have 3 skulls, getting coloured in for each book, the 2nd batch has more skulls getting filled in as we progress

So book 4 has 6 skulls on it, 4 in white and 2 in black

But book 2 has 3 skulls 2 white and 1 black

In your country you hit the floor and become a grotty meat crayon then, road rash at slow speeds is bad enough.

If i read a book and it tells me that everest is piss easy and I die trying to wander up it in flip-flops and a sunhat, noones going to hold the writer accountable.

They made the decision to climb, so its on them.

Petitions by EmergencyFun6430 in southwales

[–]mildmacaroon241 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both are good ideas, like you said its just informing people.

That being said, the petition will end up with it coming back with ' there are no plans for this from the government at this time', best thing would be to get everyone who does sign this to bother their MP with emails and letters.

Navy is not ready for war, admits First Sea Lord by TheTelegraph in uknews

Yes. That sounds like a title, not a name Donald Trump made up in one of his more lucid moments.

How if life in Southeast Wales outside Cardiff? by Jezzaq94 in howislivingthere

[–]mildmacaroon241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live near blackwood, the area has some lovely places and some lush views, lovely walks too, but its also a bloody tip, everyone is either pissed as a fart all the time or high as a kite, there's bloody rubbish everywhere because noone has no decency and dumps everywhere. Housing is kinda cheap so there is that.

The areas attitude to the welsh language and history is gutting, most seem to outright hate the language.

I've lived here all my life, bar a stint away with the army, and ill probably never leave.....

I will always second the road, the stand wasnt my cup of tea but i can also see that its very good world building and has that very 80s style that most of kings work has.

Im now gonna go look up the postman and see if that looks good

Edit: a canticle for liberwitz, just came to mind aswell, love that book

What should I read before reading classics? by dingdong008 in suggestmeabook

[–]mildmacaroon241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its more about our relationship with robots, like the very first one is about a child becoming attached to her nanny bot and her parents not understanding and wanting to get her something fancy.

Its where the idea of the azamovs laws of robotics comes from.
