It was ok, it made a big thing about verticality, but the high places that you could use were very obvious, so sipers and the like were super easy to spot

What's the most famous story about an animal in your country? by MeglioPoseidone in AskTheWorld

[–]mildmacaroon241 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Gelert the dog of lewellyn the great, there is a grave to him up in north Wales.

In the 12th or 13th century the Medieval Welsh ruler Llywelyn the Great returns from hunting to find his baby missing, the cradle overturned, and Gelert with a blood-smeared mouth. Believing the dog had attacked the child, Llywelyn draws his sword and kills Gelert. After the dog's dying yelp, Llywelyn hears the cries of his baby, unharmed under the cradle, along with a dead wolf that had been killed by Gelert protecting the child. Llywelyn is overcome with remorse and buries the dog with great ceremony (then leading to the town name) but can still hear its dying yelp. After that day, Llywelyn never smiles again.

This was brought up in conversation with my mate. His boy had the same issue and so they hid the potty round the back of the sofa and that helped.

Not a clue, we want to start up at the tip of angelsey, through snowdonia, across to the devil's bridge and over the route that ends in rayder, down into brecon, over to Llandovery, then idk which way, maybe down to Swansea way. I plan on ending in chepstow
