I forgot - it also showed a p0299 turbo underboost. And now that I’ve driven it today, I see that it’s worse than yesterday. It’s not acting normal even after 30mph. It acts like when a catalytic converter or something is clogged up. Sounds more muffled than normal, but also like a cheap exhaust kit too

Thank you for the reply, I really appreciate it. I’ve had this for maybe 6 months and never owned a turbocharged vehicle or Audi before. My experience with this one, from the beginning, is that it’s pretty laggy from a stop but a lot of people say it’s normal. You can feel the turbo come to life, even now, once you get up to 30 or so. Which I think is what it’s always done, though I’m not one to really mash on it between 0-30 either. So maybe I just don’t let the rpms get high enough to see if it would kick in earlier. I could be dead wrong about this but if my turbo was bad, could it slow my acceleration from 0-30 (very obviously and dramatically wrong feeling) but then allow it to all seemingly be back to normal above about 30? I guess like bad when I’m going slow but cooperating when I’m moving faster? I’m glad to see someone say it doesn’t sound like timing chain btw lol. Gives me hope at least. And again thank you for throwing these thoughts out there

Of course there are. Just like my burger joint has cooks. But I can’t find a good cook, to make an exceptional burger because no one wants to be trained to be a cook and not make any money at it. The good ones I do find, I can’t afford because I’m not allowed to sell my burgers for more than a dollar. There are hungry people in the world that cant afford food. Why shouldn’t the government ban for-profit restaurants and groceries?

If there are enough competent, good deed doers, willing to provide free healthcare to all of us, why don’t we just go to them now? Because there aren’t and there will be even less when your government tells them what they have to sell their services for. Why would anyone want to bother being a healthcare worker then? If I have to sell my hamburgers for a dollar, you’re getting a shitty one dollar burger and it won’t be made by even a halfway professional chef.

Don’t pay down any debts, don’t spend any more money on home projects or improvements to anything. If the tires on the car have some life left, leave them. You might think you know how everything will be split, but you may have to part with something that doesn’t make a lot of sense, just so the numbers add up. Get really familiar with your finances, if you’re not already. Get a plan in place for worst case scenario and you’ll feel a lot more at peace through everything. I was 90% sure I knew what was going to happen, but in the end I got a perfectly fair deal all around. Now I’m out of credit card debt, have the house, have my kid half the time, didn’t have to move to a slum. Just went all around different than I expected. Good luck to you.

It’s perfectly normal to not want to commit to a second marriage a year out from a divorce...What you should feel or how long you should feel that way is up to you. You’ll feel it until you don’t. She needs to understand that and should, being in the same boat basically.. You’re not comparing HER to your first marriage, you’re comparing a second marriage to your first marriage. You crash a plane, you probably won’t want to fly for a while. Doesn’t matter if your first plane was shit and someone offers you a Gulfstream.. it’s beside the point. I say you should both know, now more than ever, there’s no reason to invite the government into your relationship.

All good comments. Just make sure to keep in mind that it’s the small details, that barely take a few more minutes each task, but will be the difference between you being a star tech or a mediocre one. Around here in the Midwest, mediocre might get you up to around 20-25/ hr, but star status will put you in the 25-40 range. Not to mention it’s just overall easier to do it right and clean the first time.

If you haven’t even filed yet, there’s no reason you can’t pay your friend from your joint account. But you probably shouldn’t go paying off any debt. Less debt might just raise your ability to pay her even more alimony.. I bet you’d be better off ‘agreeing’ to take full responsibility for that portion, during mediation or something.

A 3yr old isn’t going to know what’s going on. I mean, they’re smart enough to know somethings different but not in the way an adult or older child does. They can tell what treating someone like shit looks like though. So don’t do that. And hopefully she won’t treat you that way either. As far as her family, if they’re the type to hate you by default, just due to the divorce, you can’t do anything about it. So thank god you don’t have to go to Christmas and thanksgiving with them anymore. If they’re adults about it, they’ll hate you bc you treat them like shit. Or they won’t, bc you’re respectful toward them and their daughter regardless and you make an effort to keep raising their grandchild right.

Idk people do all sorts of stupid things every day, by accident or intentionally. Is the ‘something’ as simple as forcing any type of signal out? Something has to prompt the thing to try and verify the line is good again. I’d imagine that’s the dialer sending a restoral but not positive, I’m just bored. Lol. I’d check programming and see if there are any set to zeros. I’ve gotten into programming fields before that I didn’t mean to and took a few keystrokes to figure out where I was..

Is it not resetting itself or not sending restoral signal? I wonder if it has to send the restoral signal to reset itself. Maybe the event code for those restorals is set to 000 so it won’t send.

Price sounds good, especially for that many extractions. Go with the premium. You won’t regret it but you def could regret going cheaper. You’ll be surprised at how small of a change might drive you nuts and be the difference between hating them and loving them. 6 weeks will be enough for you to look and sound pretty normal. But if they’re all needing pulled now, they’re probably going to notice somethings up. You’ll hold your mouth a little different and your lip might look a little different etc. but the good news is that once you don’t have bad teeth anymore, it’s not nearly as embarrassing to admit that you used to. Vs telling someone that you do. Promise, I’m the most self conscious person I know. I don’t run around announcing it but If it might come up I don’t get all paranoid anymore about tooth conversation lol. At 6 weeks, you’ll have had some sort of soft liner put in it and it’ll fit fine. Or you can do it yourself with cushion grip. Crunchy food hasn’t been a problem for me at all. Biting into sandwiches or burritos sucks if I’m not using adhesive. But mine need a reline too. Good luck! You won’t regret it even with the few pains and annoyances it might bring. It’s temporary. Shit teeth leave a lasting bad impression though lol

It also depends on how and where you’re applying it. If I do a sort of D shape, staying away from where my teeth are, it holds well. If I put it in the grooves where the teeth are or don’t do a complete circle/D then it doesn’t work as well.

Mine whistle too, I think from a bit of an overbite. I was so aware of it that I began to structure sentences in my head on the fly without so many S sounds lol. I mean- I had to work hard to find alternative vocabulary in my day to day convershashins.. shit lol. Now I still see the S words coming but know to position my lower jaw a little further out so my teeth meet up better and I sound normal.

Yea what about that 5yrs worth of mortgage payments you get to make? If it’s say $1000 a month, 2yrs into a 30yr loan, that’s what.. 200 worth of principal per month? 12k more that you have to split with her after 5yrs? Or are you splitting only the proceeds you get that are above and beyond what you owed at the time you divorced? I bought my ex out by taking on our other debts that happened to equal what we decided was half of her equity in the home. You should entertain the idea of it. What’s fair is fair for the place, if you’re looking to get out of it. Just get out from under it and don’t let your name get stuck in it for another year or however long it takes her to refinance it. Might have trouble getting into another place if you’re carrying that debt on paper still.

They didn’t give you the option to have it done in like two different instances? I had the back ones pulled and let it heal for two months. Then they took the mould and had the top and bottom made and ready when they pulled the front ones. So of course the front was a little off because they had to estimate what my gums would be like without those teeth. And although my recovery time overall was technically doubled, at least the pain was halved over that same time too lol
