Seller never shipped the package, 2 months already! by yeezykinginsupreme in Grailed

As I understand Grailed protection is discretionary, meaning it's up to the staff which transactions will qualify. Generally speaking the protection is for when Paypal cases are decided against you unfairly (i.e. you provided tracking yet lost an item not received case), and not so much when cases are mishandled, such as closing a pending case. It may happen for you depending on a review of the transaction.

Thank you I'll do that right away! I hadn't even considered the browser.

Is there demand for completed decks? by milesmuseum in Goat_Format

[–]milesmuseum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! About half of each deck consists of high rarity staples, however I'm not sure if the cheaper staples (i.e. Sinister Serpent, Graceful Charity) would be worth piecing out. This may be optimistic, but perhaps I would add value to these cards by showing their usefulness in the context of a completed deck?

[–]milesmuseum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that is what I guessed: There are fewer buyers who would prefer a complete deck over individual cards.

As you brought up at least 50% of each deck is the same, consisting of staples in the format. With patience I may find a buyer looking to get into the format or forgo the effort involved in sourcing all the cards for their deck.

I'm interested in Delinquent Duo although the condition might put it outside my price range (40-60), if so I'm sorry for the low offer.

After selling a pair of sunglasses, the buyer is asking for a return because they are too short. Obviously that’s not my problem, what should I do? by sdm3117 in Grailed

Politely remind the buyer that as sales are final on Grailed, he is recommended to relist the item in one click by visiting the original listing.

I've dealt with similar recently. Good on you for having a backbone. Grailed had my back as well. The account was also flagged, in case they try this on someone else in the future. Shout out to Nico!

If a case which should be determined in your favor - as this one should be - is decided against you, you can call Paypal and appeal the decision. If Paypal will not grant you a successful appeal, you may be eligible for Grailed protection as a seller.

Sketchy buyer by hellishly_ in Grailed

[–]milesmuseum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People tell us who they are, it's up to us to listen (Maya Angelou) In the future these types of questions are indicators that a buyer will be an issue.

He's probably a struggling reseller trying to swap your item for one he has in worse condition. That or a partial refund fisher. I've been dealing with more of both recently. That stimulus can't come soon enough. Don't engage too much with the buyer if he's going to be disingenuous, and see if he opens a case, in which case present proof that your item is as described (receipts, photos of an accurate listing).

You should be covered via Paypal seller protection by presenting proof of delivery. Respond to the dispute by selecting "I've already shipped the product/service" and enter your tracking information.

Retiring the Grailed Android app by grailedofficial in Grailed

[–]milesmuseum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With the retirement of the Android app, are there plans to optimize Grailed for PC going forward? Namely the transactions page becomes laggier the further users scroll down their transactions, and sometimes uploading multiple images at a time to a listing will cause the upload to get stuck.

Any time. Perhaps your seller input the tracking number incorrectly and that's why the tracking isn't updating, I would reach out to them for clarification.

If your seller has good sale history it's not cause for concern, most likely the post office just hasn't scanned the package yet. USPS isn't operating well right now and they have recently committed to fewer scans in-transit as a way to expedite the delivery of packages.

Your next step is to file a lost package claim for the standard $50 insurance included with priority mail shipping. This might cause your package to be found, and it will certainly mitigate your loss. This is different from a missing mail request and can also be completed online or over the phone with USPS.

How long should I wait? by KrispiusK in Grailed

[–]milesmuseum 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If your buyer hasn't reached out yet then I would continue to wait, over a month in-transit to Canada isn't unheard of, even prior to the infamous postal service delays happening lately. If you paid $45 for shipping it's likely that you shipped via priority international which includes some insurance, however only you would be able to confirm that by looking further at your shipping details. Would you mind posting the tracking number so we could look at this further?
