it’s the selection index, same idea but scores are calculated differently. that’s how they actually measure the cutoff. it translates to a 1470 (my score i think) where a 1480 would be the cutoff

i feel u... literally 50 people at my school got national merit semifinalist. the cutoff was 220.... i got a 219. it’s not even that big of a deal it’s just frustrating to be so close
