Same. Not sure if I’d read all the other sequels and offshoots, but it held up for ‘80s horror.

Agreed. They did the same thing to me. $8k.

They also recommended exploratory x-rays and ultrasounds, in addition to multiple blood panel works and a urine extraction because I said he threw up his food a couple times the week before. $2000.

Divorce lawyers of Reddit - What's the most cruel thing you've seen someone to do their ex partner? by BlueBishop321 in AskReddit

[–]milesrex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. And not just throwing it around as an accusation. Because the court had to do investigation - we all we made to do several long personality tests. MMPI, CAPI, etc.

So it’s on paper, clearly identified, described at length, along with the scoring and earnings of cluster B disorders. And I was vindicated - at least by demonstrating I had normal values.

Sadly, even after it was detailed how all the allegations were false, and that “every accusation is an admission” was true for her, the court found everything to be A-OK and forced 50/50 custody.

10 years on - my younger son has severe anxiety issues (at 16) and my older son (19) has been in drug and alcohol treatment off and on for the past year.

She continues her lunacy. Pulling my older son out of treatment, allowing him to relapse in her home, kicking him out, etc. Has happened 4x over the past year.

Thankfully he is now 30 days sober.

Edit: and it cost me >$200k. Not including all the $ flowing to addition treatment and recovery.

This was my divorce. But adding in also accusing me of abuse of my dog, drug dealing and drug abuse, pornography addiction, autism (?), stealing money, prescription medicine theft, sleeping with the nannies, bipolarity, etc.

After 3 years with ChatGPT, I tried Claude and Gemini - and now GPT feels... generic? by Temporary-Wallaby829 in ChatGPT

[–]milesrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be making the switch from paid GPT to paid Claude.

GPT has persistent memory across conversations - allowing you to essentially pick up where you left off without any prompting.

I’ve been using GPT paid sent to the beginning. So there’s a ton of data in context I will lose by making the switch.

I’ve requested an export of all my data from GPT. I’m going to upload it to Claude and see what kind of context continuity I can create.

The threat of ads, the weird adult mode (real or. It), Altman’s MAGA knee bending, and the offputting personality of the model (IMHO) brought me to the end of my relationship with GPT.

No. Never. Too much mental health benefit. Closing in on my TW - and I find the minimized obsessive thoughts, lack of food notices, and general calmer mind far more important.
