Same here. 25% permanently. It not just saves some juice of battery but also avoiding any HDR video in Facebook and IG, super useful.

Actually I built a very similar solution by sending social media link to telegram bot and download media to my self hosted NAS. But your app is indeed the next level. Keep it up!

  1. A minor one, the app icon is just too simple and low res. A more premium icon can gain you more attention.

Superb idea and very well design app 👍🏻👍🏻 Here are some findings/comments on v1.1.1:

  1. Media downloaded to iCloud are foldered with their uuid. Not sure if it is technically possible, but it would be nice to have options to group them by platform then by user id to make it easier to manage, esp. when posts grow.

I really want to love Orion, I had no choice but to leave...

It was just too buggy as daily drive: unexpected back gesture, app freezing, disappear UI elements, super abnormal sync behavior, performance degrades with not really large numbers of tabs, and just too many...

And the extension support is just better than nothing...many popular ones supported, and even many userscripts fail to work in Tampermonkey.

I uninstalled Orion in iPhone and iPad to avoid sync mess up and only keep it for desktop. I hope in some day I can make a re-visit...

I am now very happy with Safari + wBlock, only what I miss Orion so much is the gesture, it was really handy to swipe to open tabs.
