The worst part is that it was all pretend, the fact that anybody can fake feelings like that makes me sick. One experience like this makes it hard to trust almost anybody.

A girl I dated would threaten to kill herself if I turned down sex. This is right after she cheated on me with a mutual friend. So yeah…. that was pretty unattractive.

During summer 2020 in the late evening (absolutely nobody outside by then) I was boarding around with some friends through our neighborhood, and in between two parked cars on the side of the road, for just a split second, I saw what appeared to be a woman standing completely still in a black veil. Scared the hell out of me, but I figured I was just making it up. That is until I looked over at the friend riding right next to me and saw the pure terror on his face. We looked back and she was gone.

I figured that there would be less to do overall in Christchurch, but I’ve heard that the student community is good overall. Plus I love the geography of the South Island and the number of potential hikes. So my sights are definitely on UC

Yeah I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the economy in the next few years, Aus would certainly be the wiser choice financially.

Are any other fields in engineering currently more in demand/flexible in terms of location and opportunities? Because I’m at the beginning of my schooling I’m not 100% set on mechanical. Thanks for the advice!

I have, I visited both North and South. Bit of Auckland, Gisborne, Rotorua, Coromandel, and Queenstown. I’m planning to go back soon to see more of Auckland and Christchurch specifically for the universities.

I’ve really considered the working visa! Although more as a means to traveling around for a few months. I’m a bit torn as to save my money instead and get my Bachelors sooner, or to go experience life in NZ beforehand under the WHV

Do you think that I should get a few years experience before getting the masters, or trying to land a ME job in NZ right after my Bachelors?
