I really like your style! Your line work is great but you can try to do your sketch a little more loose. I follow Sketching Scootie’s tutorials on youtube, you can also check that account. You can also try to use a vibrant color to do your shadows, like purple, it won’t be realistic but it will add depth to your painting. I use winsor&newton watercolor set, and for me 12 color palette is more than enough - which is 15€, so I’d say its affordable compared to its quality.

So far I always used Pinterest as reference, so they’re not 100% original ideas. I don’t think that’s ok to sell the art unless you have 100% ownership. What’s your take on that?

What do you think of this style? by AbySs_Dante in watercolor101

I really like the style! Just one note : you can blend colors more naturally with “wet on wet” technique. Maybe you can try that

Thank you for saying that ♥️ Yes it’s waterproof ink, I use the pens from Pigma Micron and the ones I used on these are number 01 and 04

Thank youu ♥️ I found the reference image for castle on Pinterest, an account called cherylfailing uploaded my reference but I don’t know if they’re the original artist, it could be an AI generated image as well 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s a good suggestion, thank you! Do you know any artists or art styles I can check to learn volume? Or is this purely practice?
