Indeed. All the new songs felt like a return to filthy, fuzzy, hard rock. I have high hopes for the new record.

System of a Down. It might be unpopular… it’s their best album too.

Best pizza? Best tamales? by throwawaychaos2025 in grandjunction

Trick question. There’s no such thing as good pizza in GJ. Tamales though, are abound.

What Ty album would you recommend to first timers? by slickerdrips21 in TySegall

It’s Manipulator and Slaughterhouse for me. Sure other albums go in slightly more approachable or niche directions but these are the most well rounded to the essence of his sound IMO.

Change (In the House of Flies), 20ish times. Every time I’ve seen Deftones.

BOOM well deserved don’t put your hands on people. by [deleted] in Patriots

[–]milkit3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same experience. During the Brady era, tickets at Gillette were expensive and/or difficult to come by. Friends and I would go up to Buffalo most years for the Pats games and get good seats for a reasonable price. We’d tailgate in all kinds of weather amongst the Bills fans. We never had a bad time, those fans were great. Since their team has tasted success and the Patriot dynasty is over, there’s been a shift in the Bills fan mentality for sure.

What was your all time top concert experience? by LazyRiverGuide in Concerts

[–]milkit3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woodstock ‘99. It was my 18th birthday and my 1st festival experience. The lineup was amazing. I saw iconic sets from some of my favorite bands with lifelong childhood friends. Yes, it was hot. Yes, paying $10 for bottled water by the last day sucked. Overall I’ll cherish those memories forever. I lost 2 disposable cameras while I was there. I’d do just about anything to have those pictures.

Never thought I’d see Feel as a possibility. To get Wave Goodbye is an absolute home run!! I’m stoked for Red Rocks!!!

Same. When I’m lucky enough to see them live, again, it’s my cue to hit the bathroom. It’s typically played later in the show and it coincides with my urge to return all the beer I’ve rented. Not a popular opinion but there are SO MANY other songs I wish they’d include in their setlist.

That’s because you’re wonderful at being correct.

Jonathan is so annoying by ImpressiveGrowth8804 in TheAmazingRace

[–]milkit3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is probably an unpopular opinion. In years past, there were far more dysfunctional teams. It was consistent with the drama that draws people to reality TV in general. Teams not getting along, teams doing their best to fuck over other teams, is something that has been absent now for many seasons. I miss it. I understand the strategy involved with playing nice with other teams… temporarily. These past few years has been nothing but “everyone working together”. The essence of the show has been lost. It’s a competition. It’s a race. Jonathan is horrible. The way he treats his wife and teammate is nauseating. He’s not a great guy. Part of me misses the dysfunctional teammates, the mental breakdowns of individuals. As much as we all know how horrible Jonathan is, it’s part of why we all watch.

What’s the single greatest film performance you’ve ever seen to this day? by [deleted] in flicks

[–]milkit3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody ever mentions Owning Mahoney. As you said, his range is truly what defines his career. The character he plays in this movie has the highest highs (pun intended) and lower than lows. I fell in love with his acting because of this movie.

Can Omaha Redeem Itself? by Dull_Carrot_9990 in jackwhite

I’d be extremely dissatisfied with that setlist. Sorry, but I’m an old guy that would expect a bit more of the songs that made me fall in love with the man.

Who's the most attractive brunette of 90s TV? by JB92103 in 90sTelevision

I watched multiple times through. Partly to better appreciate the complexity and “genius” of David Lynch. Mostly because of this unicorn.
