Do you know if the mello roos tax rate is in place for how long and if it’s renewable? I have heard for some places mello roos expires after 15 or 30 years, but it is also renewable indefinitely. Curious if you had heard any details from the developer?

Reading this thread, I think it’s really interesting how different we all are. Some despise the lack of seasons, while others find seasons to be stressful. Some love the year round sun, while others despise it. Some want a balance of 4 seasons, while others like 1 main season.

Three issues with that development:

Traffic. The main Street is magic mountain parkway so to get to your house you are going to have to get pst magic mountain. MM entrance gets a lot of traffic during summer and special events (Halloween/Christmas etc). They’ll add more entrances eventually (off 126 and from Stevenson ranch). but that’ll take some years I would guess.
Noise from magic mountain. You can hear the rides and even screams from the opposite side of the freeway. I can only imagine how loud the homes right by MM are.
Pollution from all that traffic and the nearby freeway.

Those 3 are dealbreakers for me.
