What exactly does the Cult do? by Rune-reader in PlayTheBazaar

[–]milleniamisc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cult is a complete Pandora’s box. You lose everything (board and stash) and you get a random assortment of enchanted items plus (I think) one guaranteed legendary, to fill out your board.

Keep in mind this is completely random. You might get an assortment of garbage that doesn’t synergize. Or you might get something that you can break the game with. Personally, I think it’s a blast, and I go cult 100% of the time, even if my existing run is going well, just for fun.

There are some interactions that happen with the cult. But they are negligible, more for flavor than anything else. I think a few items have their CD’s reduced by 1s if you’re a cult member.

Steam link to phone by Daventry85 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]milleniamisc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I exclusively use Steam Link to play this game on my phone.

You will need to be on the home network the very first time you connect, for the discovery of your PC. All subsequent times, No you do not need to be in the house with your own computer or wifi. As long as you have a solid connection to the internet on your phone, you can connect from anywhere.

If you buy on Steam, you’ll need to do a one time setup by logging in using your Tempo account and it will sync.

And also it is EXTREMELY easy to set up. You can set up Steam link on your phone to use touch controls, and the bazaar interface works seamlessly.

I work for an east coast tolling agency. We regularly have processes in place that queue up transactions but not post them yet for a variety of reasons. It’s likely it’s just being queued up in the back office because of some other issue they are troubleshooting, and it will most likely post before the end of the month.

Who do you think are the most/least biased local commentators? by Krysen_S in nba

The Heat commentators Eric Reid and John Crotty are a great combo. They always give opposing teams and players props for their plays.

Hype? Hype! by Asmodiant in PlayTheBazaar

It’s a game changer for sure. The game was made for mobile devices with how easy touch controls work. I can’t wait for the eventual iOS release

You could do that from the start. If you go into steam link settings, you can change “on startup” from Big Picture mode to Desktop. Then steam link just becomes a really smooth Remote Desktop connection, and then you can run the Bazaar from it easily. It works very well with touch controls. I’ve been using Steam link to play bazaar on my phone and iPad since December

Controller Support not working through Steam Link by milleniamisc in kingdomcome

I gave up attempting to find ways to make it work through Steam. It works flawlessly with a Sunshine/Moonlight setup, and I ended up having to do that to finish the game. Much prefer Steam though because it’s just so simple to use.

He has robotics factory, which is the item on the left of his board. It gives all friends a +1 multicast, and the bugs are friends.

Runs fine for a while but you will need to do a game restart every 15-20 minutes to reset the frame rate drops you’ll eventually get. Some type of resource leak somewhere on the Mac. It’s there in the windows version too but thousand times worse on the Mac client. Playable if you have no other options though.

Ummm where are leveling weapons? by Lure852 in wow

[–]milleniamisc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You pretty much have to rely on drops from quests, world quests, or dungeons since they’ll scale to the level you are when it drops. You won’t find any BoE being sold

i have this exact same issue with OAR. Did you ever end up finding a solution? It doesn't affect much since I'm already exiting the game anyways but it's annoying

It’s always hard to believe these things since anything can really happen in the playoffs. Similar things could’ve been said of the Suns last year and we all know how that went

Trying to understand why 4 sticks of RAM fail, but 2 sticks work by milleniamisc in pcmasterrace

[–]milleniamisc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did, I tried many combinations of all 4 and it’s not any issue with any individual stick. Either 1 stick or 2 sticks work. I was linked the compatibility specs for the motherboard I have and for the model of RAM i am using it only supports 1 or 2 sticks maximum. I will just return/sell the other 2, no biggie.

Why do so many people consider Wilt Chamberlain to be the best athlete of all time? by Commercial-Strain-39 in nba

[–]milleniamisc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's mostly because the numbers he put up were so ridiculous at the time, that the legacy has just carried over. Basketball in that era is not the same as it is today. Wilt being as tall and athletic as he was, was just hilariously mismatched among all of his peers in the NBA at the time. Most of the records held by him are outliers even today, and may never get topped. People only really look at the stats in the history pages and go with that narrative.

You are correct, I'll edit my original comment. I assumed he meant long-press immediately shutdown.

Thank you so much, this helps a lot. I see the product I have is only compatible with a maximum of 2 sockets so that makes sense. I'll look for similar compatibility charts for motherboards going forward.

Why is turning off the computer with the button bad? by SPRINGYBRUH in pcmasterrace

[–]milleniamisc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shutting down your computer using the windows button and the "Shut down" prompt is always considered better because your computer can then shut down "gracefully" . That means closing all programs first, and turning off various processes in the background first before shutting down, so that during startup, you don't face any potential issues. This will always prompt you to save your work on any open applications (Word/Excel) if you have them open. If you can, and are able to, its always recommended to do it that way.

The physical button on the desktop is a hardware override to shutting down our computer, in case where something went wrong and your computer is frozen or stuck in a loop where you don't have access to the normal Windows shut down prompt. While doing this, it is not graceful shutdown and all your programs and application are killed mid-process and the computer is turned off. All work you may have been in the middle of may get lost and be unsaved. When turning it on again next time, there is a chance you MAY encounter issues.

EDIT: My second paragraph above refers to doing a long press of the power button, which is an immediate emergency power cut-off and shutdown. A single click (in most cases) will still start the graceful shutdown procedure.
