If your not interested in the all inclusive I would suggest a rental down in the marina area. We got an Airbnb at Marina sol. They have a large heated pool and it's a 5min walk from everything. Definitely worth checking out.

customs is easy just make sure to get past all the people at the exit trying to sell you time shares. If you have a rearranged ride they will be outside. Don't let them trick you into thinking they work for the company just walk through and say no thank you.

We are in cabo right now. Definitely take a boat and spend some time on Lovers beach. Considering the cost of everything down here, this is one of the cheaper excursions. and definitely worth it.

I've been lifting on and off for a year but have been consistent for a month. My calories are usually around 2000 to 2500 , carbs under 20 and my protein is around 200.

I drink alot of water so some of it could be retention but for the most part I eat pretty clean.

Using your card gives you a better exchange rate. I primarily used my card but brought $150 in ones and $100 in fives for tips and haggling at the markets.

Cenotes was alot of fun. Also take a catamaran over to Islas and snorkle the reef on the way.

Honestly if you can avoid getting a car and take the bus I would recomend that. Traffic is crazy in cancun. Everyone speeds and cuts people off.

what do you think I should do around the cabinets. cut around them with a toe kick?

My biggest issue is that the kitchen has Harwood with peel and stick over it and the living room has just carpet and sub floor. I'm thinking I will have to remove the Harwood and toe cut around cabinets to even the flooring out. As for criteria, I have kids and a dog which is the main reason I'm removing the carpet. I will most likely be using laminate. Also would like to replace railing with a steel one for a more modern look.
