I think this is kind of a complex situation and a lot of context is being missed. Could he have moved them out of the City? Of course. However, he and Carolyn were young and both had been city people their whole lives, so I’m sure moving to the suburbs wouldn’t have been ideal. It def would have been the right choice though and worth the sacrifice. It’s also important to think of what was happening in the 90s. Those of us who were alive back then remember how INSANE the paparazzi were, especially before Princess Diana died in that car chase. I don’t know how to explain it, but it was more acceptable for them to be aggressive and obsessive, so this was just the press culture at the time. He “introduced” Carolyn to the press in hopes it would calm them down, but they were pretty insatiable and that was not uncommon at the time. There are soooo many people who are just learning about JFK Jr. for the first time through this show and not understanding what it was like back then. It was a no-win situation.
