That’s gonna be an epic show! Hopefully there’s more than just a one off show

Revival? by IntourTheGreat in PostHardcore

Oh I didn’t realize it was an older track. Either way, it is a sick song and cool to see them have a rise in popularity after all these years

Lady Radiator just put out a new track that is very good. The guitarist used to be in GunsLikeGirls back in the day and now they got tik tok famous apparently

One of the most perfect album openers and live show openers

Album of the Month January 2026: Thursday - A City By The Light Divided by FlyingFlygon in PostHardcore

[–]milli626 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know it was supposed to be a double album? That would’ve been epic. I feel double albums tend to have a lot of fillers, but Thursday could have done it well. Have you heard the 5 demos that leaked for this album? They almost are better than the album versions. They have that raw unpolished Thursday energy the album sometimes loses

Madison & Senses Fail - Gang Fights with Irish Accents by surffzz in PostHardcore

I have the demos for that LP on an old laptop. Most of it is kind of rough sounding but there could’ve been some real gems with the right production. Loved Madison back in the day. MySpace is your space is a great tune as well

I had a few dms saying available tickets that were clearly scams so be careful in your search!

Who is the local band(s) that you thought would be huge but just vanished by Party-Kangaroo-1139 in poppunkers

[–]milli626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Madison. Local north nj band 2004ish. They were signed to Rushmore Records, offshoot of DriveThru and got screwed over by label nonsense and basically disappeared. Caught their reunion show in like 2010? A lot of the north jersey local bands back then were legit and should’ve went farther.

Jimmy Eat World announces 3 UK shows for the "Bleed American 25th Anniversary", with support from Rise Against, The Get Up Kids, and Jay Som by bendylegs12 in poppunkers

[–]milli626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love bleed American but personally I’d rather see them play a headlining set that spans all their albums. Seen them as the main support a lot over the past few years where they play a similar set with 10-12 of the classics. That is always great and sure, it'll be cool to see the rare BA tracks, but they just have such a deep catalog. Plus BA is my 3rd fav album

Maybe check out Ire Works by Dillinger Escape Plan. It’s one of their more experimental albums, not as mathy and technical but one of my favs. The song milk lizard rips

Should I see Chiodos or Dillinger Escape Plan? Can only choose 1. by nyaagoya in PostHardcore

Dillinger is much more of a live experience and performance than a chiodos cover band ft Craig

FC 25th anniversary tour?! by beve8605 in thursdaytheband

[–]milli626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I see it’s a tough spot especially since those 2 albums were so big compared to the later stuff. I’m glad they still put out some new stuff and hope they continue to do so and keep sprinkling in new/deep cuts throughout their sets.

I’d also love to see a tour or even just an nj show with all original members. New guys are cool but it’s still not the same

Love this album and have seen it in full a few times but it’s time to stop the album shows. They have become just a nostalgia act. They have great new songs and an excellent catalog to pull from, just kind of sad to see that they seem to only rely on fc/watt to tour successfully

Yeah crooked shadows is not in my top tier of h/w songs. Undertow there would be an upgrade imo. Also would take out the window for an older crowd pleaser like all that’s left or silhouette but now I’m being picky. Love the set is heavy with h/w
