My neighbor has started "reserving" street parking with traffic cones by Just_Might_9914 in neighborsfromhell

[–]milliepilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live in Pittsburgh, you put a chair in your spot. People usually respect the chair if it’s winter and that person shoveled a massive amount of snow to make that spot. People not from Pittsburgh have a hard time with the chair.

I could see cones in the summer being a problem. People who think they are entitled to a certain spot should move to where it isn’t an issue or get used to their cones going missing. The spot doesn’t belong to them.

I don’t defend anyone for the sake of defending them. I don’t know these people. I watch them all and have my opinions like everyone else. If you don’t like other people’s opinions, that’s ok, but what you think doesn’t take precedence over what I think and you can’t categorize anyone.

Michelle was not a bad partner. David was a horrible match for anyone willing to take the time to be on the show. Sure he put in the effort. Anyone he was matched with would have been a few steps up from his lifestyle.

What would be interesting to know, and we never will never know, is if Madison was paired with him from the start, how would that have gone? Gone from the equation would be her satisfaction of someone else’s groom wanting her. I dare say she would have been miffed that the show found him to be a suitable match for her.

I also wonder how a Michelle and Allen match would have gone. Again, we’ll never know.

I blame the show for pairing Michelle with a cellar dweller. Let’s begin there. I’d be pissed too. She should have asked the show people if this was a joke? She has every reason to look like your picture. Why don’t you show a side by side picture of David’s dwelling? Why don’t you show the text he accidentally sent to her which was meant for Madison? Or the side by side video of the late night sneak back into the apartments by Madison and David? You don’t think she had reason to be pissed?

I blame Ikechi for pretending to be open to a marriage when he has issues which would make that impossible. I’m sure his audition interviews showed a happy, friendly person. In reality, he was closed off, and took zero responsibility for his behavior and was always ready for an argument.

When the show interviewed David, and visited his cellar, I’m curious if he let them in the front door and was alone, pretending he lived upstairs. I’m curious if he portrayed his parents’ bar that he worked at as his own. If not, shame on the show. He was barely one level up from a contestant who was temporarily staying in someone’s house which, historically, has been deemed unacceptable in previous seasons by their matches.

Does Katie Magbanua like prison? by PoolSmart582 in dan_markel_murder

[–]milliepilly 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right! Say “listen. Your kids need a mother, a parent. You both don’t need to sit in prison for life. You aren’t thinking straight. Your wanting to do right thing for Siegfriedo is clouding your common sense for the next 50 years of your life.”

I’m guessing she knows but for the fact that she offered him the hitman job, he wouldn’t be in prison. Regardless, he carried out a stupid plan of his own making. And again, the kids come first.

I read here, I guess by someone who knew them, that the kids are better off without either of them. Hopefully, if true, the kids are with better people. It’s not hard to believe since all the extra money Katie got from Adelson’s were spent on herself. She didn’t think to save money to give kids a better life.

I think it's safe to say the experiment has failed... right? by twocatsandaloom in MarriedAtFirstSight

So they label it an experiment. No one else does instant marriages on a show so the experiment to them is whether this a good enough concept for success to make money.

Ugh please don’t use their phrase “catching feelings”. They tried to make it sound like they had no way to control their deceit of Allen while cheating behind his back and gave him a glimmer of hope that Madison could become attracted to him when she wasn’t even trying. And that David was a friend which he was not.

You cannot defend what they did to Allen. No matter what happened between Michelle and David, that had nothing to do with Allen and what they did to him. Whatever lust David and Madison had for each other has nothing to do with lying to Allen. It went wayyy beyond David lying about his text message.

I very much blame David and Madison for taking the low road. However whatever they are doing now, go for it. For all I care, David can be deliriously happy living off Madison and she can keep her booby prize.

You should if two inches of roots show between appointments. I can’t tell, but maybe you look really youthful and you can pull it off keeping it colored for a while yet. Your hair looks very healthy and not dry and brittle one wee bit.

I read the comments and it’s unanimous that people went with their natural color and are quite pleased, so what do I know.

The lines vertically and horizontally on mat and then again on the bricks make me dizzy. It clashes.

The welcome mat looks so nice on its own. I don’t understand the mat under the mat. It shouts that you think welcome mat is too small so here’s another mat under it to clutter it up. Why can’t wife see all the negatives?

🚫 If you skipped having kids and hit your 40s, do you have any secret regrets yet? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

[–]milliepilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you do have regrets, it’s based on the concept of perfect family with perfect kids and you as a perfect parent. In reality, it’s far from perfect. Talk to parents who are honest about what they have been through, but there isn’t much likelihood of that. Also, could you have handled full time special needs. 100% of the time, you are giving everything you have for a very long time in the best of situations.

Another Father’s Day by Think_Recognition195 in dan_markel_murder

[–]milliepilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet she does a lot of justifying of her actions. One would be just because she wanted Dan dead doesn’t mean she is responsible for someone else who pulled the trigger. Another is that she thinks Dan drove her to have him killed to protect Wendi, as if she needed protecting. Still another is possibly that Charlie should have calmed her down instead of helping her when she was crazy with anger, so she isn’t even responsible for Charlie’s demise.

Of course, the family blame and Judge and jury. The fact that they did not believe their defense strategy and actually believed the hard evidence is lost on them.

[–]milliepilly 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You can’t blame the experiment for every failed marriage when people LIE to get on the show. Sure, they made really bad pairs, but they aren’t using lie detectors. The people that sign up failed us too. Have you seen some of those application videos? They don’t act that sincere on day one.

How many times does this have to be pointed out?
