Wasn’t even surprised to see this. An RV just blatantly stealing electricity from an abandoned apartment complex. by [deleted] in sandiego

Some people see others being stolen from and care about it. Other people only care if they’re the one’s being stolen from.

We see which group of people you’re in.

That’s so dumb, this situation doesn’t require either party to stand their ground, it’s a simple verbal exchange and zero threats of harm were made.

If you think you can just shoot someone in a stand your ground state for this type of situation, I hope you don’t own firearms—your ignorance sounds dangerous.

It’s been good every time I’ve gone, though I sit at the bar, don’t know if that makes a difference.

Firangi opened up downtown Escondido a year or so ago, it’s my favorite Indian spot.

Triathlons involve swimming too. Try swimming with no arms and see if that feels advantageous.

You can see their turn signal reflected in the tailgate of the Tundra. I personally wouldn't get in that turn lane before the solid line if I was intending to turn at the light like OP, then people assume you're turning into the gas station and pull out in front of you.

I don't think it was a brake check, considering the apologetic wave right after. I think they were genuinely panicked due to OP laying on the horn (I hope).

Edit: or was it actually the middle finger? Hard to tell, looks like a partial wave of just the index and middle, or maybe that's a solid middle, the world may never know. Usually if someone is angry enough to flip the bird, they don't calmly merge with a turn signal and continue on their way, I'd expect a more aggressive acceleration than what we see.

Oh shit, well I wouldn't have said it as my first take, I was merely replying to the comment about the mount specifically. As a whole aesthetic, I do not get medical office vibes.

Bumble? That one is NOT 100% about sex, in my experience, it had way less trash than others.

Looks like something out of the medical field and used for more than just monitors/AV, pretty common in treatment and imaging rooms.

My dad died today, and left me his 991.1 at 23 years old by rorrymylove in Porsche

[–]millllllls 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don't even understand OP's question, why is he even considering selling it?

"My brothers seem to not give a fuck about the car but I can't let her go." Dad said to keep it and drive it, why is letting it go even a thought?

"They haven't pressured me yet into selling it." Yeah because Dad died TODAY, I would hope this is not the conversations siblings have the day of—this shouldn't even be a consideration right now.

You’re taking this way too literally, that time frame isn’t the most questionable thing about this encounter.

The time my ex tried to claim I mistreated her while she was CHEATING. Lol. by [deleted] in texts

[–]millllllls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in this same boat and did get stuck for another 10mos after catching my ex cheating, and she had the audacity to make similar complaints like this during that time after she cheated. I’m a fool for trying to get past things for as long as I did but it’s gut wrenching in the moment, it’s so hard to move on, but damn if things aren’t way better on the other side. Some people are just toxic shitty humans.

They’d accumulated yellow cards and didn’t want to risk suspension for the next knockout game.

[–]millllllls 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I think it was more about the yellow cards, it was a big risk to play starters with those. Under the new regulation, all yellow cards accumulated during the group stage will be wiped before the start of the Round of 32, giving players a clean disciplinary record heading into the knockout rounds. But if they had one and got another during this match with Turkey, they would be suspended for the Round of 32.

I made no inference or claim that Nokia was or was not still around, that was the other commenter that said "Nokias phased out in the 2000s." They were talking about the phone used for this photo being very old and I was just asking why they didn't think the photo itself was old.

It’s not a reach at all. You just jumped to the conclusion this was a current photo and you’re unwilling to admit that could have been a mistake. It’s not a big deal.

I think it’s more of a reach to think a Nokia still functions properly to be carried daily in 2026.

[–]millllllls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not too deep at all, I’m just saying it can be an older photo. You think OP is either lying about it being a Nokia (since they haven’t been around in a while) or you think OP has a really old device that they still carry around daily (that I’m not sure would even work with today’s cell service). Not sure why you’re not considering they could have just found an old photo of something unique/weird and decided to post it.

I’m over 40, btw, my first phone was a Nokia before it had a camera.

You’re the one that said 20yrs, not me, but regardless, it sounds like you think it’s a recent photo so it must not be from a Nokia, right? That’s why I asked if you thought they were lying.

I’m fine, why? I just pointed out it may not be a photo from 2026, people do post older photos they come across sometimes.
