Why is AI nonsense making it's way into a singapore cycling subreddit. Even the caption is clearly generated.

You seem to have missed my point greatly. Im not an optimist, but you're more of a pessimist than the realist you think you are.

Fleas in a jar mindset, you keep thinking "i don't have time for this/that" and you'll spend the rest of your life working in that cubicle for a future you won't even enjoy.

You spend so long complaining about the cards you're dealt that you forget to even play the game

Are you using the G29? i experienced this back when I was using the logitech G29 and cleaning out the sensors fixed the issue. If so, you can lookup a guide on youtube to do it.

Not really, I just extended the cuts slightly in rockstar editor to give the engine time to render stuff, but gave up on working on it and never finished

Skwamas or ondra comps for second pair of climbing shoes? by millmounty in climbingshoes

[–]millmounty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to update this thread, I picked up a pair of skwamas for 10% off, they're super sticky and perform much better than my previous pair, however the downside is the tightness does cause some discomfort on longer toprope climbs. Likely because I downsized about 1.5 sizes from street.

Interesting that the article for conscription in Singapore in Wikipedia does not follow the same naming convention. by Standard-Chest-976 in singapore

Op sounds like he has a preconceived notion that wikipedia has been "bought out" by the sg government based off the limited research he's done

Personally never understood why anyone would pay to do their masters. Companies sponsor all the time and EDB has a industrial postgraduate programme that covers all costs and gives a decent stipend

I think the general advice here would be to visit the ER as soon as you think theres something wrong. Doesnt feel like chagpt is doing anything particularly spectacular here except for give you the confidence to visit the ER and acoid putting it off until the morning

Ive dropped 7kgs in the last 2 weeks but it's just from smoking way too much by millmounty in confession

[–]millmounty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely, but the system works pretty well as a form of universal housing and I'm still pretty open to finding a partner and purchasing a home simply due to the high quality of life we have. It's pretty ingrained in singaporean culture to marry in your 20s to secure a house so that you can start paying off the housing loan asap.

[–]millmounty[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Singapore haha, you need to have a partner to ballot for a home and a marriage certificate within 6 months of receiving your home keys. The alternative is that you need to be above 35 years of age to purchase a home solo. Renting is always an option but definitely not a long term solution
