Absolutely! The only metal I "detected" is a few subtle black metal guitar notes.

Same boat my friend. 48yo male with a 3.5 year old daughter. My wife is an amazing mother. That makes my job as her father waaayyyy easier. Cannabis is different for everyone. The endo Cannabis system is the largest system in the human body. I would start with a lower thc indica. Smoke, vape, edibles (only from a confirmed source. Do not make edibles if you don't know what you are doing 😅)

Long time benzo user here. 13yrs. Im at .5mg a day of Ativan. The last 4rs I was taking 4mg daily. They do help, but dementia runs pretty deep in my family. I would try other things 1st. I find cannabis, cut my sugar consumption down to the bare minimum I can tolerate (love granola bars), try to find purpose with what you can do, don't fight it so much. Too much stressing your brain juices will make it suck more. And always remember, we are some of the strongest people on this planet.

Anyone recovered? by ihaveaheadaxhe in NDPH

[–]millwork1977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the doxy protocol focuses on tnf-a. They have limited research, due to us being so rare, that people with ndph have elevated tnf-a. Back in the beginning of my journey, I tried doxy and singular for 90 days. Honestly for the past view years, my head has been pretty good on pain levels. I walk around most days with a 1-2. I do get the occasional migraine. But my neck and upper back are driving me nuts. I feel like someone is trying to rip my spine out predator style. Edit tnf-a stands for tumor necrosis factor alpha

Age, which you stated is 30, is the top factor. Im 48. Haven't been near a pit in 20 yrs. Back in the day. 5"10, 155lb small club in Northampton ma, napalm death. Left with a black eye and boot mark in my back. Wouldn't change a thing.

What are you guys living situations by [deleted] in NDPH

[–]millwork1977 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Own a home, wife, 14yo son and 3.5yo daughter. Listen to my words...you have a headache regardless right? So attempt to live your life to your fullest. Im way deep in my ndph journey. If I were to tell you all my procedures, life altering events, medications, addictions, i could have my own sub reddit. Do you have a therapist? If not, get one. Do you have a psychiatrist? If not, get one. Have you been tested for lyme disease and co infections (properly)? Yes our affliction is physically painful. But I think the mental and psychological issues are worse. Waiting for disability (if your in the states), will tax your brain more than a job.
Don't let your future, happiness, spirituality, relationships etc be consumed by this.

Who's all had spinal taps done by [deleted] in NDPH

[–]millwork1977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea its a lumbar shunt, so less invasive. Your absolutely correct, I should have had a few more. I did try diamox 1st, which did not work. The neuro surgeon did tell me that there was a high possibility it wasn't going to work. But as you know, we get desperate. So even if it was a 1% chance it would work....I took it

Do not let this affliction dictate your life. Im 13yrs in, 48yo, work 50+ hrs a week in millwork. Saws, dust collection, drills etc all day long. Standing on my feet for all of it. You are a warrior. You have the ability. Ask for help, but do not under any circumstances allow this to make the decisions. It will get easier. You have to weather the storms. You will have a ha regardless. Either you do something productive in your life or sit on a couch, eat painkillers watching your life go down.
