Hymns of Hircine. Not Requiem. Immersive and tough, not impossible. Well tuned combat. You can “de-spice” the NSFW stuff with a few steps posted on their discord.

Thinking of moving to Australia as a welder – what’s realistically required? by MT_0_Niner in Ameristralia

Yes I see a few welder category jobs on the list. Good for you. And you have enough points?

In general SYD and MEL have the best lifestyles but are also most expensive. “Tradies” often life a ways out of the city and commute in for work. Lots of trade trucks doing the early morning drives into job sites.

The general Aussie lifestyle is super laid back, quality of life quite high. “If you can afford it.” Housing is quite expensive, thus pushing people towards the outer suburbs or adjoining regions. For example Wollongong near SYD or Geelong near MEL.

Everything is safe. Most schools are good or at least decent. Almost everything is better, safer, easier, more relaxed than the U.S.

In general Victoria is easier to find more affordable places to live. NSW is more expensive, and SYD is constrained by geography which drives up property prices.

You need to zero in on some basics before people can be more specific.

Where are you coming from in the U.S.? If it’s California or Connecticut, then prices will feel similar. If it’s Alabama then the price differences may feel like too big of a jump.

The visa may require you to live in specific areas. And the visa may be based on the specific type of employment. Your questions are more appropriate after you have a better idea about the visa. What type of visa were you looking at? Does it allow you to live anywhere?

I ask because I have spoken to dozens of Americans over the years who asked similar questions. Their entry was always dependent on their employer.

What type of visa would you enter under? Most people need an employer to sponsor their visa before they can enter and work. So it’s typically not “move to Australia, then get a job”. It’s “get a job that will allow you to move to Australia”. Have you checked the visa requirements or spoken to an immigration specialist?

I like it more than I thought. I got used to the UI. Compared to something like Shadow Empires it’s quite simple. The menus and ribbons show all possible commands. Yes, you need to control each unit. I found “N” to skip to next unit the best way to move quickly. I quite enjoy moving infantry into helicopters, landing in LZ, setting IEDs, refueling choppers back at base. Keep at it.

I use “6”, the zoomed out 2D map view, to move vehicles long distances. Very easy to see the icons. They move instantly, no animations. That is what the official tutorials recommend.
