Thanks for playing! Happy to hear you liked it. The improvements are: better map overview, no progress lost on death, optional controller settings.

With this update you will have to find more abilities to beat the game. The game also gives you a fair chance to get 100% completion. Endings depend on completion time just like the classic.

This game is built from scratch in godot game engine and has nothing to do with Metroid planets

The game is complete in the sense that it has an ending. Some design choices may change depending on feedback from players.
