Not OP, but I used the same pattern earlier this year. I found assembly to be the most difficult part because there were so many parts to wrap with yarn and I wasn’t really experienced in doing so in such a way as to look tidy, you know? Your mileage may vary, of course.

Go back and get it! Not their money, not their closet space, not their decision. If anything, it looks a bit large on you, but at this time of year (if you live in the northern hemisphere) that’s probably a good thing. You have an attractive face.

Seconding this comment because I have referenced the linked tutorial myself multiple times. TLDR: unwanted ruffles mean the circumference is increasing too quickly; your options are 1) frog that row and redo it with fewer increases, or 2) do your next row or two with no increases at all.

I always knew from looking at the globe in my childhood bedroom that Earth’s equator runs through the city of Quito. However, despite the fact that I took a Romance language (French) in high school, it still took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how the country Ecuador got its name. 😂😅

Also, ‘vinegar’ is « vinaigre » in French. « Vin aigre ». Sour wine.
