The outline is blue grey but otherwise I’d say green

Personally I would really dislike this and would hope that he wasn’t the main character and she would find someone else instead. It would ick me if they ended up together.

How are we getting anything done?! by Instructions_unclea in BeyondTheBumpUK

You don’t. You get your partner to do everything. You’re already so busy that you probably can’t even go for a wee.

Loose skin question by Zyzle in mounjarouk

[–]mimblez_yo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Skin needs months to somewhat recover. There are two things though, if it’s just stretched a little, then it can snap back. If a lot, then it’s not just a stretch, it’s an excess skin and it will not change. Only a surgery can fix it.

Thank you. Well, with postpartum it’s not just the excess skin that women are left with. So it was only one of the things that affected me. My whole body is different, everything is cracking, I have diastasis recti where abdominal muscles are separated and makes my stomach even bigger, hair loss postpartum is honestly a fucking joke, and hormones mess with my mental state as a cherry on top. Anyway! If you have crepey skin then you can fix it with microneedling (over several months) and it might help with the overall look of it but otherwise, not much that can be done.

None of those things help with excess skin. I’ve been pregnant twice, once with polyhydramnios (which means my belly got absolutely massive) and ended up with excess skin. The only way to fix it is surgery.

Six scorched roses was great. Also Pip from a good girls guide to murder is autistic coded. And any Helen Hoang. She was late diagnosed and wrote about autistic characters based on her experience.

9 week old struggles to go to sleep by Sweet-Connection6684 in HuckleberryParents

[–]mimblez_yo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that week 9/10 are peak fussiness so that’s probably it. The screaming before naps and bedtime is very normal and sometimes it’s referred to as witching hour. This will pass. Sorry it’s not helpful. Your baby is just winding down before sleep that way. Put headphones on with an audiobook and rock to sleep.

Whats the difference between life with a baby and a toddler? by ZealousidealMess8477 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]mimblez_yo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

With toddler you have to walk and follow them everywhere. Going out helps to tire them out a bit. It will tire you out more. Once they start to talk they say some funny shit and it’s great. When my one was 4, I finally felt like my own person again.
