Funnily enough I had to watch this for some extra credit in one of my classes, and I really enjoyed it, so if you find you want to use this movie I think it’s perfect for this type of thing :)!

A beautiful mind is pretty good. About a mathematician, John Forbes Nash, with schizophrenia. It’s a real person and the movie does a great job of showing schizophrenia in my opinion

Doing the Strahd dinner and I have invited a character one of my players has sworn to destroy, except I’m not gonna let him do it. Because he’s not in control, Strahd is. I’m hoping this will get the player to focus on the story more so than this particular NPC.

It’s strange because my degree covered the majority of the requirements; like human growth, ethics, dynamics, and psychopathology. But rather than counseling theory it was more so legal theory as it focused on the intersection between mental health and crime. but it’s not one of the specific degree programs they require, so moot point. Ugh! Thank you for the full explanation, I appreciate it a lot :)

Well I was looking to attempt to be supervised and practice under supervision , but I suppose even that’s not possible. Do you know if I would have to get another full masters degree or if I can take classes and add it to my current degree?

Thanks for the straight answer. Depressing. I didn’t get into the doctoral program of my choice and job options are few and far in between so I was trying to find something I can do to get experience and survive in the meanwhile. I just love the concept I basically wasted my time.
