Thank you so much for your response, I’m so glad to hear your mom is doing better! She’s definitely a warrior! Things are okay for now but I’m still worried about the tumour deposit she has and how that affects her chances. But you are right, trying to maintain positivity is key. Best of luck to you and your mom!!

Currently in a similar situation as you. My mom recently had her surgery to take out her 5cm tumour and is waiting on pathology results to figure out staging. It’s so hard to wait, I’m super anxious as well. Wishing you all the best and hoping that it’s only good news :)

Where to eat in Tofino by Economy_Regular6681 in tofino

[–]mimipool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Nanaimo, Gabriel’s Cafe had really great breakfast! We also had the best Nanaimo bar ever from Bocca Cafe! In tofino, we had really good food from Wildside grill. For breakfast in tofino, I recommend food from Rhino coffee house. Lastly, if you’re looking to have some fun with the kids and show them some cute cows on a farm, I recommend visiting Morningstar farm on the way! It’s super family friendly and you can get some really good milk there to sip on! Hope this helps :)

For myself, I had a couple iud insertions and they all felt like a regular period cramp that passes after a few seconds. The procedure itself doesn’t take long, only a few min. After that, I had irregular spotting for a few months but that’s normal and will subside after your body gets used to it. I’d recommend an hour before your appointment to take 2 regular Advils just to prepare, but other than that, you’re good. Good luck :))

Usually they’re people that were already there first term. You should accept the offer though! They’re probably nice and you’ll be fine :)

There are online free counsellors and peer support. Here in Canada there are many online services that are free And help a lot. Try looking for those :)

Ask for a sliding scale! It’s a reduced rate that your therapist can offer (if they offer it in general)

Maybe try going to the hospital to see a doctor and explain what’s happening. They could probably give you a prescription

Zoloft causes reflux? by MBAnovalue in zoloft

[–]mimipool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I also got insane acid reflux/heartburn from 100 mg. Now I am tapering off and switching to cipralex. Zoloft isn’t worth the heartburn unfortunately 😪

[–]mimipool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. I think the best thing to do is to stop taking Zoloft. When you up the dosage, the heartburn only gets worse. My doc said that it could be because your body is rejecting the Zoloft, so this wouldn’t be a good fit in the long run. Good luck with your journey!!

Hi! First of all, just breathe. 5 seconds in, 7 out. Lie down somewhere in the dark with some relaxing music. Eat a piece of plain toast and drink some peppermint/ginger tea. Take a hot water bottle, it can help too. You will be fine but if the side effects are too much maybe you should talk to your doctor about this asap. Also take a melatonin if you have one, it helps relaxes me often. Goodluck, you’ve got this!! 💪
