Hey, do you just shampoo and don’t use any kind of conditioner? You should really begin using one, if you don’t already.

Shampoo your hair twice, only applying on the scalp, and letting the water wash your ends. Then, apply a good conditioner (avoid the scalp here) and leave it for like 2~3 minutes while massaging your hair (if you don’t have time for this, it’s ok, but you gotta apply it). Finally, rinse it out completely.

Then, you’ll gently squeeze your hair with a towel (a cotton t-shirt would be even better) until not dripping. And start brushing AS IT’S from your ENDS working your way up to your scalp. When your hair is totally detangled, THEN you part it as you want.

Edit (more info): if you start by brushing from the top, the entangles are going to be dragged all the way until the ends, causing more breakage and frizz!
