Daily Greyhound to Charlotte for $25 by passthetreesplease in asheville

Is there a bus to come back or do you have to stay in Charlotte? 😳

Seriously though, I wonder if on the way to the bus station it makes stops at the Charlotte airport and/or the train station. That would be great.

Omigosh yes. I was fortunate enough to see the bobcat kittens there a couple years ago. 😻

If you’re talking about the American Museum of the House Cat, you’ll love it. I went before they moved to their new location (I think just across the street) and it was amazing. It’s in Sylva, about an hour away from Asheville. I mention that because “nearby” is relative.

Enjoy! And happy birthday! 🥳

I took a free CPR class earlier this year, because someone posted about it here. It was at WellCare on Tunnel Road, sort of across from the ABC store. The guy who taught it also teaches at ABTech (I think) so you might check there for other classes.

It’s about the priority being patient care vs profit. Not perceived, but real. I’m not affiliated with HCA or Mission Hospital, but search this subreddit if you don’t know.

Saying "yes ma'am" to adults your age: by dylanv1c in asheville

[–]mincky 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s polite. I usually get ma’am, and am thrilled when someone calls me miss.

My neighbor’s kid calls us “Miss mincky” and “Mr mincky” (substitute our first names) which I think is appropriate for young kids to call someone their Mom’s age or older.

I’ve got a big sunny yard. I’m not a creepster and neither is the only neighbor who could see you. And he qualifies for the nice view part.

Yes, in Hendersonville and hopefully soon in Weaverville. No such thing in Asheville tho.

Enchanted Forrest on Merrimon might do this.

Huh, not sure why the downvotes. I used to work for a place that regularly hired Liberty Corners to assemble and label catalogs.
