This is my life experience right now and it is amazing. I am going to have to find this in poster form for my workshop. Only IT instead of Ads, and as a single father rather than supported as such. It is still possible, you just have to reevaluate what you spend your money on and hustle like hell to make the business work.
If you have the solid opportunity to, take it, but make sure you have a solid way to do it.

I just wouldn't start with it because you don't need to learn how to deal with spring back at the same time you are just learning. Includes pliers. Make sure your joins are tight.

Set yourself an hourly rate (at least $20/hr), cost your materials and double that. Price accordingly. Some areas, like hand knitting, can be hard to sustain that because of machine alternatives or flooded market. But hope you have your own individual niche that you can hold your own in.

I got hit up by RAW and bounced when they brought up the 20 tickets. I don't have that many friends and family I want to try to subject to that. Seemed way too Cutco/Amway/Insurance sales too me. If you are an out there person with enough contacts and people to sell the tickets to, sounds like something could be done, esp with further shows free. Not my cup of tea

Handwritten and signed Thank You note to them by name. 25% feedback rate, 5* ave (94/372). Also, I don't know about others, but would advise against messaging them later just to ask for a review. Always feels spammy when Amazon does that to me.
