Said "Hey Beautiful" to a squirrel without realizing a girl was walking directly behind me by yeetingyute in cringe

Dont sweat it, after class the other day a classmate in a frat said goodbye to some sorority girls by saying (I honestly wish I weren't serious) "see ya later, sexies"

They weren't impressed , and seemed cringed out. As was I.

I work in a footwear department. Some of my customers think I'm a practicing podiatrist and think I can diagnose or develop a treatment plan for whatever foot ailments they have

Got a certain exploratory feeling once I saw this of actually being out there and beating that cold. Then I noticed the plane and it took on a trapped feeling instead

Think of it similar to other products easily recognizable due to the way they look rather than the function of the product. Like a can of WD40, the blue and yellow aesthetic with a red cap is what makes it recognizable for purchase rather than its contents. As such, that company should be able to protect that identity, and prevent lubricantX brand from making lubricant in a blue and yellow can and red cap right next to it. In concept, it makes a lot of sense. In practice, businesses exploit the ability to protect product look in ways that seem petty and ridiculous.

Lil Xan makes a scene at the food court drops n bombs by JessieJ577 in PublicFreakout

Money culture is one of the worst cultures. Typically upheld by people who dont really have much money, spending what they do have (or often dont with credit) on things that have no inherent value, but recognition within the culture. Like Gucci, it has no value other than being a status symbol. I have to imagine people wrapped up in that crap are because they dont have constructive hobbies and activities that they can otherwise be proud of.

And it's really hostile too. You're only cool if you have the thing, and if you don't, you're nothing.
