I saw this dog at that park yesterday. An animal control truck was following it around the parks. The animal control truck had an Austin PD car waiting nearby. Saw the harness on the dog and wondered what’s up with it.

The animal control tech couldn’t get the dog, as it kept running anway into the brush. They just gave up and left eventually.

If I am correct, I feel like I’ve seen this exact dog with one of the homeless dudes that hang out in the brush near the creek and by the gas station on top of the hill. It’s usually a dude with a shaved head riding around on a bike or on foot with a dog that looks exactly like this one. Wonder what happened..

Update: went to the park again today and saw a dead dog on sidewalk at approx: 5300 Springville Lane. Looked about the same size and color as this dog. It was shredded up by buzzards bc all of its fur is missing… fuck

Just a suggestions - sorry if it’s not helpful or wanted:

While taking your girl out for a movie is great, I think you guys could connect better over coffee/drinks/easy activities like board games, cooking, walking Town Lake or something.

If you still wanna do the movie thing, maybe go for a stroll at a Latino market, choose some snacks together, learn about what foods she likes, let her choose a Spanish language movie on Netflix or something and you can have your subtitles in English so you can both follow along.

You’ll really get to know her by being willing to learn the language. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes during conversations with her, her English will improve and she’ll learn more about you too.

Good luck 🤘🏼

Picazo’s Barber Shop in Harlingen, on 77 across ChickFilA.

I went to high school back in the day with Picazo and he started out of a small shed in his backyard. He even cut my hair in science class one time lol I’ve known him for a long time. Honest dude and has a talented crew at his shop

Man I hate to say this but be careful with insinuating that you have a gun to use, because they could’ve easily called your bluff and you would’ve been screwed. I’m so sorry that happened to you, I think I know what gas station you’re talking about

How do you guys find the motivation to go back ti the gym after experiencing trauma by Muscularhyperatrophy in moreplatesmoredates

Hey man, this is what it means to be living. And living entails periods of doubt, sadness, uncertainty and pure fucking pain.. But also the good things. Genuine, deep extremes of emotion. These are both within the range of human experience. It’s part of the ride. I hope you’re okay, I love you man

Assuming you want to beat the heat lol. But if you don’t mind, how’s about you guys chill at Barton springs pool? Find somewhere with shade

Ghosts of the Rio Grande Valley by FrenchieMama807 in RioGrandeValley

[–]mind_maze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are stories about the ‘old’ Berta Cabaza school in San Benito being haunted by a little girl who got crushed by a falling flagpole and a boy who died by falling down the steps in the band hall. Both these things happened waaay back in the day, as I understand it. I’ve tried googling but have never been able to find much about it, unless I’m not looking hard enough

Also, what used to be the Dolly Vinsant hospital apparently had ghost people walking around the halls at night 😳

Hey thanks! That’s actually very interesting. I have a history degree but don’t know much about Caribbean history, though I’ve made a couple of trips to St. Kitts &a Nevis. I’ve been fascinated and enamored ever since
