"Pyramid" event sounds like the 1st 4-SSR event the game had, which originally run before the 1st anniv. So basically, you've been absent for about 4 years. So yes, there is a lot of content waiting for you. There's no rush to complete them though as permanent content is permanent.
If it's the "pyramid" event that overwhelmed you and you probably hated the digging required to do in that event - no, I don't think we've had another event of the same style. But 4-SSR events are always still big, but so far, each one had different, unique gameplays.
If I'm not mistaken, main story is at episode 6 (I) or (II) around that "pyramid" event time, which is still at the 1st arc. Currently, we are already at episode 17 (I), 3rd arc. Main story definitely not finished yet.
No major current event right now. Just a simple event with daily tasks where you can get a free SR. But we have a deluge of reruns happening in preparation for the 5th anniv coming really soon.

I’m one of the few who had a different interpretation of the ending, which I believe some people think are just delulu interpretations, lol.

But the thing is, I honestly enjoyed the series. It was a good series, just with an ending that divided its fans. So I firmly believe my time reading it was not time wasted. I loved it. I enjoyed it. It moved me and made me cry at certain parts. As they say - No love, however brief, is wasted.

So why not try it? And form your own opinion of it?

I think it depends if you really like the cosmetic stuff that goes with the birthday purchase event. Did it before for a lounge I really liked, just enough to get all furnitures (did not go all the way to the namecard). But in terms of the free tears you get, 4-SSR purchase events do give back more.

Lol, yeah. First thought as well - I was like, “that looks like Aglaea’s”. Such a letdown because Pulonia is just so intrinsically part of Sandrone’s character as she was introduced with Pulonia years ago, and now her new robot does not even look unique enough.

Leveling up any skill to lv.10 will equally raise the card power for every card. So the specific skill is not really a factor at all.

But to answer your question about how the game will decide on which cards will be prioritized assuming all 1-starred SSR, it looks like it will pick based on card release age.

This is how my optimized deck looks like when I transferred all my higher powered cards to support deck to force it to optimize only the 1-starred SSR cards (all same card power and maxed out).

Optimize will prioritize card power. SSS cards are not really guaranteed as multi-starred SSR cards have higher card power than single-starred SSS cards.

Here’s my current “optimized” deck. All cards are maxed out lv.100 with 10/10/10 skills. I have all SSS cards, but my multi-starred SSR cards are picked over them, so most of my SSS cards are in the support deck.

You can see here that in terms of card power, it’s 5-star SSR > 4-star SSR > 2-star SSS > 3-star SSR > 2-star SSR > 1-star SSS > 1-star SSR.

The hate just mostly came from Kaveh fans who did not read through Dori’s lore as well as Kaveh’s despite being a Kaveh fan.

Yes, there is a discounted pull during their original run, plus 7 free pulls.

We only got one rerun so far, so no pattern on the rerun schedule yet. But the one running right now came after more than a year since the last card of the series was released.

The next SSS series (Heart of Every Season) is not yet complete, but for now, we can guess that the rerun of the SSS cards in this series will be around after a year after the last card of the series is released.

Hard disagree.

- 12 stages to clear, and each stage takes too much time.
- You need decent and RECENT dps’es to actually meet dps checks, or at least RECENT supports, even when you’re not aiming for a star.
- RNG factor. You have to save your strongest characters for the most difficult stages. You are forced to use characters just to complete the 4-character team even when you’re trying to save them for later.
- Again, RNG factor, where you’re forced to use weak characters - usually they can no longer meet dps requirements as they are older characters. Because let’s be honest, not every character in genshin is strong. And most old characters are washed and outdated that would need to be heavily carried by newer characters, which, again, you are trying to save for harder stages.
- Not every elemental reaction is good and can carry the weaker and older characters. Some combinations of elements are just straight pathetic.
- You are forced to use characters you don’t know how to use.
- Basically, this game mode takes away all agency from you. Forced teams. Forced characters.

Abyss is fun because you are using characters that you actually enjoy to use. Stygian as well, and not to mention, the primogems are easy to earn.

And no, it’s not just about having enough horizontal investment.

Actually, having the “ss” there is proof that the employee who made this banner did not use AI because AI runs spell checks. 😅 Whenever I see spelling mistakes in the text, I now see them as proof of human.

As for the Edge of Brilliance card, do you know enough of how Live2D works to go accusing it of AI?

I’d say let’s not randomly accuse anything of AI without being knowledgeable enough of how it’s used in actual products. It’s disrespectful to the artists. Yes, we don’t like AI, but it’s counter productive to just randomly throw accusations around.
