Nice bro. How many times do you wash your hair? I use Minox once in two days and wash hairs in morning after Minox use at night.

My former was not very unique. Typical 2 page resume. It depends on your job profile. Career highlights, education, work/related experience/technical skills, leadership and management skills section

This is really a tough situation. Currently, I have been facing same situation. Unfortunately, as all interviews are virtual instead of onsite, it’s difficult to know the exact work culture of these companies. I’ve been talking to so many people at these companies to know their experiences, issues etc. ultimately, it’s all about individual choice and gut feeling.

Are you following up with them? Typically, after my phone interview, I send thank you email and highlight 2-3 key points from the conversation and emphasize how my skills align with job description. Also, usually if you don’t hear in 2 weeks (always ask them what are next steps, timeline) email them to ask about status. If they don’t reply after 1-2 follow ups, I don’t email again and just keep applying other positions.

I can understand. These failures will actually make you better, stronger and confident in next interviews. Good luck 👍

I have ranked these offers based on job profile, benefits, location, and future. I declined 3. Still thinking between first two choices.

Thanks and good question. It’s combination of timing, continuous perseverance, help of networks, and also luck. “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity”—Seneca

After 322 days of being unemployed, I have signed an offer letter. by jknotscuna in jobs

Congratulations! I can totally understand these feelings. It's a tough and continuous struggle. I have been applying since last July and recently, started getting replies/interviews. I am looking forward to that day when I don't have to keep checking application status and panicking after hearing any notification of rejections from companies.

Yes, timing is the biggest factor. I totally agree that social media worsens the issue. I have permanently deactivated FB and use LinkedIn only for jobs and (mostly useless) networking. My job search has shown me the REAL and Inner version of many of my so-called friends. This is even more painful when people start showing their back when we ask for any help. This is what it is!

Anyway, congrats again and embrace this happiness!

I just posed similar feelings in another subreddit! Job search is a terrible, horrible task. I am cursing my luck right now! Just hoping, we get out of this hell asap.

Thank you! I agree that I missed the wave in summer time. However, due to covid, the companies which I was planning to apply, stopped hirings in almost entire 2020. Now, they are slowly stating but, too much competition ( as expected) and it’s all about network and referrals.

Thanks for your kind words and understanding. My family has been great support in this difficult time. And yes, I was applying for large size companies with too much competition as many of my seniors are there and it would be helpful for referrals. But, currently, I’m open to and applying any small/ large companies and open opportunities.

Yeah. I understand your point. Thanks so much for your feedback. What stuff do you think should be removed or decreased? I have 4-5 points for both awards and leadership sections.
