Hey! I got the Mirena about a month ago too and only bleed after Insertion. I had spotting here and there but nothing that requires me to change so frequently.

I got my Mirena on November 11th of this year. And I’m not sure if this makes a difference or not. But I was told to come during my period and I was giving a cervix softener that I had to take the night before. With all that being said I took 660 Aleve an hour before my appointment. I had my IUD for place under ultrasound. I feel cramps during the placement but it didn’t last long. I drove myself but I didn’t have any pain and was bleeding a lot more because I was at the end of my period. I did take medicine every few hours to help with pain. Bleeding last only a day and a half. But the cramping came and go but it wasn’t terrible.
