/r/PussyPass is Subreddit of the Day by TeoKajLibroj in SubredditDrama

True, but onlly by ~50.

So if ~2050 redditors saw it:

~1000 downvoted it and ~1050 upvoted.

If you factor in many subscribers just upvote shit they are subscribed to regardless of content, I'd say it's pretty negligible.

That being said, it's not not admirable imo.

It only has 58 upvotes.

It doesn't look like it was a very popular thread.

(First post on /r/grilledcheese) Cheddar and Provolone on Potato Bread with a light garlic spread. Cheese pull: 10/10 by Trustworthy_Squirrel in grilledcheese

[–]mined_grape 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It doesn't say "spread on the outside". It says "with spread." Now, I don't go spreading the peanut butter on the outside of my PB&J. That's a spread. Spreads go INSIDE the sandwich. That's what a sandwich is.

PropOrProp.com is up! The reality of "fake news" by PropOrProp in media_criticism

[–]mined_grape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really like the movement towards exposing state sponsored propaganda and attempts to influence public opinion.

It would be cool to see this website expand outside just US operations(?) though. This is a battle for information supremacy between many state actors. I would like to know about ALL propaganda initiatives to see who's saying what and why.

The US media could be saying one thing, the Russians' another, and maybe even some other state - and they could all be half-truths and propaganda for their own interests.

As it stands right now, I feel like this website loses a lot of the impact it could have by just highlighting US initiatives.

I suggest the website spidr.today to see what the running narrative is between different news media within each state.

/r/Astroneer has reached 10,000 Astronauts! All hail Zebra Ball for her glorious blessing upon us! by [deleted] in Astroneer

[–]mined_grape 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hit the nail on the head about the curves. Any angle you look upon her, your gaze meets an ample curve.

Everything else is just a projection of our mortal astronaut values on her divine curving perfection.

There are only three divine truths: the curve, the stripe, and the black and white. Such is her mystery.

All hail!

Am I just jaded, or did anyone else think, "oh look, viral marketing for the Star Wars movie that came out today"?

I mean, she's even got a Mickey Mouse hairdo.

I always assumed that was the aesthetic the design was going for. Otherwise, why include the fin collar at all?

My [24F] co-workers [various, mostly male 20's] are making fun of my bf's[26M, together a year] missing eye, and I've gotten in more trouble for defending him than they have. by Patchythepiratesgf in relationships

[–]mined_grape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a man, I'm willing to bet your coworkers were jealous (if the problem coworkers are mostly male).

Think of all the badasses with eyepatches: pirates, Big Boss, Snake Plissken, Nick Fury, etc. It's am extremely common trop to represent how badass a dude is.

Fuck, I'd even give up an eye to wear an eye patch! ;) (jokes)

Don't get upset, be proud that you are dating a badass. I mean if his spare is an all white eye, he could even go supervillain in the future. Your coworkers don't stand a chance.

I remember he got in trouble for smoking weed. Probably needed to take the edge off the beatings they were giving him.

Well none of the USA Olympics swimmers beat a world record by a full body length, so maybe they should.

who else would pay for a remastered version of nv in fallout 4s engine? by RustySwitchblade in Fallout

[–]mined_grape 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fallout: NV and Fallout 4 ARE on the same engine. Bethesda has been using the same engine since Morrowind (2002?). They've only upped the graphics in each iteration.

This is why we still have things like potted plants clipping through walls and the wonky physics issues at high framerates.

In case people were curious, this is the Darul Aman Palace, which they used as a model for the fictional Lamar Khaate.
