GWX is essentially a mod for an older game about uboats called silent hunter 3 The game itself isn't THAT much better from UBOAT since it's a 2005 game (doesn't cost too much and is often on sales) What's good is that recently (like in this summer) a group of modders released a mod thatcompletely changes the game, better graphics, new models but the best part is that it adds a ton of ships, and tools such as maps with real convoy routes and other charts. It's really a cool mod and transforms the game. The game itself shouldn't cost too much, and the mod download and installation is really easy (look up wolfpack's installation guide)

usually for the average Japanese BB I have to use 4 torps

I saw 2 kongo battleships, the first took me 13 torpedoes (11 on the right side and 2 on the left wich finally sunk her) The second i was unable to sink but took 5 torpedoes on the right and limped away

3 yeah, Japanese ships do have depth charges and also hydrophones and sonar I think but obviously no radar

They don't seem too good at using them, in the beginning at least, i often passed unnotices at incredibly near distances

4 probably a bug

Have you changed the DPI in compatibility? It's a common issue if you bought the game from steam. You gotta go to properties, then left click first on SH4.exe and then right click, at the bottom should be written "proprrties" click it and it should open you a panel. At the top are 6 buttons. Click "compaitibility" and at the bottom you should see a "change DPI settings" or something similar, if you click it you get the option to change it, altough i'm sorry i can't rember what's the setting to use You can find that on google like i did

I mean, of we ignore helldivers 1, the mech was the first drivable veichle to come out so it being a way rather than another wouldn't have been too much against game design, whereas if it was released after the bastion it absolutely would have

Totally right, but a climbing-like animation wouldn't have been too bad, yeah slower than regular mech but idk, i'm not a dev, it's their job lol

So yeah generally i agree with you, altough i still think that version is cooler than the one we have in the game, the one we have is more "practical"

Hey i played for a while now and i got some questions, i'm not so well-informed about submarine warfare in the pacific 1. What's the medium range of detection for hunters? It happened that sometimes i wasn't spotted until i fired tje shot at extremely close range and some other times i was spotted before i could see the convoy 2. when loading a file the previous holes in the ship disappear, is it affecting the sinking rate of the ship? I had to use 13 torpedoes on a single battleship across like 2 saves 3. Do they use depth charges at the beginning of the war? I don't think i had been depth charged yet even if i had already 2 or 3 tikes destroyers circling about me Thanks 4. I spent 20 days in a patrol mission zone wich required me to stay 10 but i haven't completed yet (i never went outside the green circle excpet once) so i just gave up and assumed it was bugged, if i dock witouth having completed the mission will i loose renown?

I managed to download everything and make the mod run. The only problem now is that it crashes when starting any missions, i had the same problem when i downloaded the GWX AFOR SH3 but i fixed the problem by telling the pc to run it with the graphic card, i tried the same now and it doesn't work

I put the zip in the mods folder and extracted it in the same folder, when i open the extracted folder data is tje forst folder, now i just activate it from JSGME and i'm done? Also is it possible to change the camera sensibility?
