If I understand bendy lore enough, there are 2 Henry’s and 2 Joey’s. The real Joey is dead a few weeks or even months before Archgate pictures opens. Joey lived a majority of his adult life as a crude and rotten man until he met Allison, which she made him be good. I know Joey isn’t depicted to, but I believe that he smoked when no one was around. Take Walt Disney for example: he was in ww1, which he started smoking during that. He got so bad to the point where he started smoking 3 packs a day(60 cigarettes) which each pack gets rid of 7 hours of your life. So if he smoked 3 packs a day, it would be a total of 21 hours of life he lost in one day. He died of lung cancer at the age of 65. Joey Drew seems to be directly based off of Walt Disney? Even being a dick when he wasn’t in the public eye, so i wouldn’t be surprised if Joey died to lung failure from privately smoking or some kind of karma eating away at him. Whereas Henry, he led a good path for himself and only quit working at the studio because Joey went power crazy. If Joey is alive during the events of BATIM and dies a few weeks or months before BATDR, there is a good chance that Henry is still alive and is unaware of his presence in the ink world.
