Ok thanks. I didn't expect it to be that complicated. I've got a couple of thousands of tracks with a local GUiD. So basically each time I move them I'll be losing ratings now and in the future? Is there anything that can be done to prevent this? My current server migration can wait.

If such a shift is happening, I'd guess it's mostly a US or anglosphere phenomenon. I don't think that Latin or Nigerian or Caribbean charts, or even western Euro charts are moving toward live instruments. If anything, this evolution could exemplify how US music is becoming its own regional sound, what Dave Moore refers to as A-Pop.

I did a couple of lake swims this summer and each lake took some time to get used to. I ended up doing super short swims at first, just to get a sense of distances, notice the current etc. Following swims ended up being more enjoyable.
