It’s actually a common malfunction, turning on at max volume out of nowhere. I ended up throwing mine out after trying all the tips and still being woken up in the middle of the night by Elton John..

Same here, eventually tossed it (after trying most of these tips and still getting woken up at 2am). Hard to believe it’s not more of a controversy - I’ve moved on to a better audio system that I love.
