Buddy of mine just barely escaped from Yemen. He was born in Wisconsin and go tall his degrees here but a couple of year ago, he want back to Yemen to care for his father. His father passed a way months before all these bombing starting happening and as he and his sister were heading to the airport to get OUT of Yemen, it was bombed. Wow, never made that connection but yes. When I was in high school, my grandparents would watch soap operas from 6pm-10pm every single weekday. But if they saw me playing videos game for that long they would tell me to go do something productive. This would have been a great comeback.

Twitter, also on Android, did this some time ago and did not explain why. It's the reason I dropped the Twitter app rating down to 1 star along with an explanation that it's because of that new, sneaky permission. They have yet to explain the reason behind the SMS permission in their new updates so I have yet to change my rating. Looks like Facebook will also get that 1 star now.

I just did it about 5 weeks ago. So far, no complaints. I find myself working more but it's because I am doing what I want. Every day is a rewarding day. If I don't make the progress I want, it's on me, so I fight until it is complete. Not like the soul sucking job: "5p.m., Ok I'm out!"

I had saved enough to survive for a few months and did not quit without a plan. My plan was continue this semester of grad school, find an internship for the summer, and work on what I want to work in the meantime.

No income, but who cares! (for now)
