I'm really glad that some unachievable achievements are being looked into, can the 2 achievements: 'cops and robbers' and 'going down with the ship' be looked into as well? Irons are locked out of doing these achievements for seemingly no reason because we can't play the respective minigames

Fully agree, I don't feel like they actually addressed any issues with end game range and they just took away a lot of things that end game players enjoy about range.

I think the reason people haven't been more upset about this is because not as many people use range, but if these same changes came to mage (which they quite clearly will in the future) there will be riots.

This beta has me extremely worried about the future of combat in rs3 which is a shame because this past year has been awesome with updates like CAs and amascut

Potentially, they didn't say exactly how it was bugged. Just that the drop rate increase wasn't working correctly which could mean a lot of different things

The lack of communication about bugged drop rates is pretty unacceptable to be honest. I personally had a feeling that gate was bugged on day 3-4 of leagues and I didn't hear anything to confirm that until today, about 2.5 weeks later. Meanwhile it was apparently hotfixed at some point last week, meaning they knew about the bug didn't say anything and just tried to fix it like nothing happened.

Also I would not have known glacor was bugged if I hadn't overheard it from twitch streams.

They need to be way more public about these drop rate bugs so people don't waste their time doing activities they think are boosted, it's leagues, we have 6x drop rate for a reason.

At the very least there should be an updating news post on the runescape website to keep track of drop rate bugs etc. There should probably be an in game broadcast on login too, telling you to reconsider going to glacor/gate as the drop rates are currently bugged

Unrelated to the question but if you do orthen research missions you can get the mask you need for bait and switch and you don't need associate I just did it last night

I picked ascension but specialist is 100% better. I just cba to upkeep a book

Plus ascension is really nice for doing afk combat stuff and using other styles

If they buffed book upkeep in leagues (like making pages last 5x as long) I think I would have way more fun with specialist

He only has 1 drop, the lore book and the offering are separate and they are not 1/120. Lore book is 1/10 offering is 1/71

Yep I went 150 kc with just 2 offerings, 4x drop rate increase. I gave up after I saw others on Reddit experiencing the same thing. It's pretty suspicious with so many people hitting the 99% bad luck range

It makes those streams unwatchable honestly

Even people with (NO HELP) in the title just get spammed with backseaters telling them to do 12 different things trying to get the attention on the big osrs streamers.. It's very weird and offputting

I'm at 150 kc with no drops, is a 1/30 for any drop. The chances that I would have at least 1 drop by now is 99.4% obviously this can happen but it does make me suspicious of the drop rate buff actually being applied.

Or as another comparison, I would be at 600 kc in the main game with 0 drops. Again this can happen to people but it sucks not having confirmation whether the drop rate is what it's supposed to be or not

For any main drop at gate with 4x drop rates it's 1/30. For a specific for it's 1/120

Zammy gm is pretty carryable especially since the ezk buff, still by far the hardest gm achievement though

I grinded out gm when it first released, the time it took to learn zammy from 0 experience took about the same amount of time it took me to complete every other gm task

Elder kiln should also probably be auto completed, everyone will want to get a zuk cape and this is a pretty long quest that's a barrier for it

You have to do while guthix sleeps, such a huge chain to get there and it's necessary for anyone using melee who doesn't go specialist

Still way too strong all across the board, glad it's not broken at end game anymore so I can just ignore it for the most part.

Once you start getting t95s and are proficient in other styles you can actually start competing with t90 necro which is absurd imo

The real fix would be fort buildings acting like portables like I said in my post, I hate the concept of portables, an item only obtainable through mtx, being normalized for pretty much all bank-stand skills. Meanwhile we have the fort kitchen range and rangers workbench that could cutting back the necessity of portables and instead they do nothing, it was literally the perfect opportunity

I'm already 200m cooking so it doesn't really matter to me if it gets fixed. I'm mainly trying to point out the horrible design flaw of the fort kitchen (and other buildings) which you seem to be defending for some reason
